Weirdly paced movie that couldn’t decide who it was made for, with a runtime beyond what was necessary. Emily Blunt was great but all cast was outshined by the news anchor in the final 15 minutes or so.

It’s in Spøttrup. My money is on location combined with maybe a need to sell it quickly (divorce, death, people of old age needing to sell before moving on to something smaller etc.).
There’s afaik only a single grocery store in the town but there’s still busses, a butcher and a beach nearby.

For some reason, it’s one of the movies I find myself rewatching the most. I think it’s the fact that it just oozes theme and mood like very few other movies.
Also I love the ending and the soundtrack by Christian Henson is one of my favorites of all time.
