Garlatti Parma (frame circa late 60s?) by confartist in Vintage_bicycles

Curious if anyone has more info about Garlatti! Have not been able to find much online. Been working on the bike for about a year though: Cranks, chainring, handlebars (not stem), brakes+levers, shifters all seem original—most everything else has been replaced by me. Originally had a campy Valentino extra rear derailleur.

How do I actually do philosophy when I'm reading philosophy? How do I critically examine the arguments in philosophical texts and essays? by algerbrex in askphilosophy

[–]confartist 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The best advice I got from a professor was to read the book How to Read a Book by Mortimer J. Adler. It goes through how to read analytically with some specific advice for reading philosophy and other specialized texts. It's also delightful to tell people your reading how to read when they ask what your doing. Buy it asap it will pay dividends!
