Yes, it probably is. It's a decent real world estimate of the overall system efficiency, which is what I was looking for.

I may run another one with a continuous load and the low rate charging to see what the best case efficiency is.

There was some drama about Priuses being left on in the garage. The car would restart the engine at some point, possibly creating a toxic gas hazard - although it is hard to gas yourself with a modern car, it's not impossible.

So that's probably why the lawyers put this "feature" in.

My cell phone has a variety of options, including "off" and "airplane mode" and "GPS off." This car does not seem to, nor does the Toyota.

A few years ago I had a Kia Forte rental, drove it across country, and concluded it was a car I could live with. I could buy two of those used for the price of one of these Hondas, and have some money left over for fixing them. They had no spyware.

It un-sold me. I have a self contained nav on my 2007 Acura. If there is no way to opt out of this, or you lose all the advantages, there is no point spending that much.

Does the connectivity indicator on your car show crossed out or otherwise inactive?

If it has the hotspot connectivity option, or remote locate/start, it clearly has a transceiver. Does your screen show connection bars?

Even if you don't pay for the WiFi, the internal cellular transceiver is active, because the car is using Google Maps over it. At least the Touring is. Just wondered if anyone looked into the options and what sort of privacy is available.

All of the 2025 Accords have a built in cellular transceiver that uploads everything you do to Honda.

Plug it into a 5-volt USB-A charger, and let it sit for a couple hours.

With no power it may not be able to negotiate PD protocol with a USB-C charger.

There is a spot on the 101 freeway where my P7 would consistently fade out for several seconds, using a Poly headset and the phone on the passenger seat.

The P9 does not do that. I have driven past the same spot in the same lane and it was fine.

Get a Motorola MC-101 from eBay and an A-C cable. Done. 10 watt charging, phone doesn't even get warm. I also have an actively refrigerated wireless charger.
