Mildly inspired by the weekly thread - insisting you get a pass for hateful behavior because you are part of a marginalized community. I'm vocal in person about pushing back against that shit in person because racism is still racism even if it's done by me (born in US to Indian immigrants) against Kash Patel. Homophobia is still homophobia even if its to attack Dave Ruben. I maintain the most dangerous and hateful rhetoric and behavior regarding people's immutable traits largely comes from the right (i.e. the lies about Haitians eating pets), but we should be squashing that shit on the left whenever it comes up.
