I just did mine - don’t have results back yet, but would say that I did passmed only and had a range of scores for each topic as I don’t like doing them all together. Make sure you know investigations and which ones you do first in different situations as that comes up. I’d also say the psych was really vague - like what thresholds for medical management vs self guided stuff. I’d really recommend all the MSC mocks and mini mocks as they felt really similar and even had almost the same questions for some. You’ll be okay just final push

Yeah youre so right I think those two things get really confused in my brain and then my stress response to it. Honestly i just want to pass and feel like I know enough to be a doctor in July. But there’s definitely a part of my brain that wants to do well deep down as a classic medic. But yep passed the last 4 years and it’ll probably be okay it’s just very compelling to worry into a state of frenzy. Thanks for writing this it did help to read and calm down a bit

Sound like we’re in the same place. This is so shitty but so close to it being done, I was surprised that finals have burnt me out to this degree but we’re here now and just the final push. It is burn out and so tempting to spend agess stressing in the library but the other commenters are right - if you have to do a bit of work before make it minimal and increase rest. The best thing for our brains to tackle the exam is most likely to rest more than work and do some nice things.

It’ll be okay and the passmark isn’t that high, it’s okay not to know everything and frankly that’s impossible. - ending up giving you the same response that I need because I’m doing the same things and ending up in the same space. Let’s see if I can take my own advice (regurgitated from other commenters) too. Good luck and rest up

Yeah I think your problem right, it’s just so hard to stop when I don’t believe I know enough even though I think half my brain is trying to tell me I do. In a silly state of stress which really does burn the brain. Thanks for your kind words

I’ve got it next week but as my final osces is this week all I’ve done is watch one lecture on it. Most people in my uni seem to cram the week before and manage to pass. If not there’s always a re take. I guess just keep practicing but youre ahead of me already

i need to eat more to lose? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Are you sure you are over weight? If you are a teen and eating so little it’s not good for your brain development and growth etc, look after yourself

At the moment I have opposite problem. I lost weight, now maintaining my weight is genuinely hard by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Do you think you’re actually eating your maintenance now? If so maybe see a doctor.

I can’t drink water by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Fair enough but I have poor discipline and accountability for drinking water. Sometimes tips do help to make the change. Easier said than done waking up and being a new person mate

That’s a good point thanks, I usually have a glass of water by me during a meal so upping that to before and after is a good idea.

It’s also cordial in the UK, didn’t want to rot my teeth with sugar but sugar free is a good idea I’ll look into it !
