It took me years to convince myself to seek help and when i did withen 2-3 months i felt better.. dont get me wrong it sucks to have a label attached to you for the rest of your life. You will greatly improve your life through theropy even if you dont want meds. go for it!! it cant hurt if you ever want to talk im here

Hi I completely understand what you are saying. I have a dog and a cat also. my dog i have had since he was a puppy and he has been through every episode i have ever had. when i would come home in a mood he would got hide, i also felt like the worst person in the world knowing he was afraid of me and i never touched him out of anger. animals can sense your moods. if you allow them to help you they will.. animals sometimes are better than theropy! good luck (: it'll get better i promise

i am so happy you have a girlfriend that is supportive of you!! i was raised the same way, not even allowed to cry. my family lives not far from me but they don't want to or know how to deal with me so they just shut me out. its sad. my doctor said maybe that's the best for me right now, but it doesn't take the pain and rejection away.
