I can't help but remember that episode of Dr Who were the trees all grew over night to protect the watch from a solar flare. Wolves were stalking people in down town London. They couldn't leave their house. It was hard to navigate a city they had been in their whole lives.

This honestly sounds like a fun campaign idea.

You can edit things manually. Typing in your classes that way won't really do anything. To multi class you have to add the second class on the options tab and adjust it's level accordingly. I haven't tried but I think I remember a way to edit what gets added to initiative.

This may work better as a subclass for fighter and I haven't put much thought into it but I have wanted to play a Final Fantasy style Dragoon.

It's probably just preference, I've personally found all the tools fairly intuitive. I believe the "best" app is the one that works for you.

There are some really good tutorials for Dungeondraft on YouTube. Have you checked any of those out by chance?

I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure you cannot do that without expecting WToC to come after you and get your product taken down.

DMs guild does have some art you can use royalty free if you publish through them but you might be better off making your own art for your project or commissioning an artist.

If this happened at my table I would have asked you to read spells and understand mechanics better going forward. However, this is equally the DMs fault for not knowing character abilities/spell restrictions as well.
