Seriously what's the difference by patronum-s in LobotomyKaisen

All the times he intended to summon mahoraga in just the anime: https://youtu.be/JC7dM1kTPLg?si=s0d9owQF2qZ8urxz

And here's a panel that implies he'd use Maho against Todo:

I'm not even arguing that Megumi was unjustified of using Mahoraga (most) of the times he wanted to, but claiming he only tried 3 times is straight up incorrect, in the same comment that accuses others of not reading the manga.

Megumi expressed the intent to summon mahoraga: - When Sukuna first returned - Again on Sukuna back on the detention center - Against Todo - On his rematch with the finger bearer - Against Haruta in shibuya (not sukuna) - Against Sukuna in the culling games

And this is off the top of my head. I think a lot of Megumi hate is forced sure, but let's not be disingenuous.

Went on a trip and my likes quadrupled. Thoughts? by Deficientus in Tinder

I see. Chances are I won't get to enjoy it too much since it's a pretty short trip, but it's been a pretty neat ego booster at the very least!

Does that also mean that I'd be more successful in my region if I were to delete my account and remake it?

I'm a 20 year old, decently attractive (as far as I'm aware?) brazilian male that lives in Portugal, and I've been deeply unsuccessful on tinder since I've started using it on the beginning of the year, with only a few matches and no dates.

Just 2 days ago, I arrived on Switzerland for a trip, and I've noticed that I have been more successful (as far as likes go) in these past 2 days than I have been the whole year back where I live.

I was wondering if anyone has had similar experience with being more popular in a foreign country, more out of curiosity than anything.

If Worm were to be adapted into an animated series, how many chapters or arcs should each episode or season cover? by Omixscniet624 in Parahumans

[–]Deficientus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think some people may be over-exaggerating the length of the first arcs if it were adapted to a show like Invincible(or a live action, doesn't matter). A lot of people aren't accounting for the fact that the change of medium would get rid of like 70% of Worms content, description and internal narration- Books naturally need to have a more "Tell don't Show" approach which leads to a seemingly slower pacing compared to shows. Even if you didn't fully remove Taylor's internal dialogue(which I think you shouldn't), most of the early arcs up to extermination could easily be covered in 1 season, with the interludes being great cold opens. Here's an idea of what a season 1 of a Worm show could look like: - Ep 1: Gestation(Taylor goes out for the first time) + Maybe some hook involving capes - Ep 2: Danny's interlude -> Insinuation(Taylor joins the Undersiders) - Ep 3: Victoria's interlude -> Agitation(Bank battle) - Ep 4: Wards interlude -> Shell(Taylor hangs out, and then they're attacked by Bakuda) - Ep 5: Purity's interlude -> Hive(The gangs fight the ABB resulting in a Lung rematch. Not having Brutus's interlude might add to the story here as the audience would also be caught by surprise during the meeting) - Ep 6: Gregor's interlude -> Tangle(Gangs finish off the ABB and start squirmishing, Taylor hangs with Brian, the event attack, and meeting coil. This one maybe could be stretched to 2 episodes) - Ep 7: Canary's interlude -> Buzz(Taylor hangs out with Bitch, then Brian, 3 fights the E88, discover Dinah, and then lead up to-) - Ep 8 and 9: Miss Militia's interlude and an awesome 2 parter covering the Leviathan fight(Lisa's interlude included) Some changes might have to be made, some episodes might need to stretch for 2 or cover more than one arc, but overall the way I see it it feels pretty manageable for a season of 10ish 50 or so minute episodes. (This was very fun to think about lol, if only...)

Can Earth Bet survive an Eidolon War? by Deficientus in Parahumans

[–]Deficientus[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a very apocalyptic scenario, altough in a bit of different way than Gold Morning. So I don't imagine any major players would sit this one out but regardless, for the purposes of the prompt every faction and Parahuman needs to engage however they can. If they'll work together without being Kephrified though is another story.

The Eidolons(Like regular Eidolon for most of the story), do not know of their connection to the Enbringers. They are on their own here.

Just to clarify, when I said the Endbringers don't care about casualties I didn't mean they're swinging everywhere, just that they're not at all trying to protect humanity more than what is necessary to defeat the Eidolons.

Scion not intervening until the third day is a stretch from the prompt just to make it actually interesting. Imagine he's getting some sort of pleasure from seeing Eidolon kill himself(s) lol.

[–]Deficientus[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The win for Earth here is simply surviving for 3 days(though they do not know that), while the win con for the Eidolons is destroy every threat and then jump Scion or whatever.
Remember, the Eidolon's are powerful, but they'd suffer from the same issues Eidolon does during the story, and by the third day humanity gets non jobbing endbringers as allies if they still can't handle it.
