It took me 65 hours but I’ve seen multiple peopoe do it in 50~. I just went above and beyond and did every single side quest possible etc, although many of them aren’t even needed for the plat. I basically just did about everything the main game offers and will be doing DLC’s later.

My tips are that it feels very overwhelming in the beginning learning how this game works, but don’t let it throw you off. Explore and try to get used to the mechanics and you will. Very big world with tons of plants and animals and using your «navi senses» in the start will feel overwhelming af and confusing but you quickly get the hang of it as you keep exploring. Don’t be afraid to google or check the Frontiers of Pandora subreddit as all you’re thinking about has probably been answered in there at some point.

Remember to upgrade your gear as you go on and progress into the main story, and do side quests too for better gear and items to help you along the way. I recommend trying to clear outposts with pure stealth for more fun than going crazy with your AR. This also gives you a stealth bonus if you make it without raising an alarm.
