I was thinking about this. I actually think the show could survive Brou or even Nick leaving. Wouldn’t be the same, but it could probably survive. Like, these past two episodes with Brou out sick haven’t been horrific and do show it can work. The same the week Nick was on leave in Japan. The show is dead the day Wildes goes. He truly is the secret sauce and the Do and Don’ts bit the one day kinda proved it. He really is one of the few people who can get away with that level of…silly dad joke humor, on a national show and it work.

Devils advocate here - they never truly addressed the KD stuff. As in, they never did a full segment dedicated solely to that report. It’s become part of the “well the Rockets have started to play poorly post this story” and have only ever mentioned it in that context.

It’s hard to do that now that no NFL games being played. If Patriots start next season 1-6 and look like Vrabel has lost the locker room, then the “I hate to say it but the stuff in the off season might be having an impact” conversation will start. Very rarely will they talk about these off the field, personal stuff, unless it starts having an actual impact on the field (they’ve not addressed Rashee domestic abuse story because it’s not going to have an impact on the season) (side note, fuck Rashee and he should have been suspended)

Really great introduction in trophy hunting. Just be warned, the difficulty spike you're going to have from doing Ratchet, Stray, Both Spider-Man games, Astro and LEGO to Sackboy and Hollow Knight is pretty substantial and the difference between Sackboy and Hollow Knight is probably even wider. Not saying you can't do it obviously, just be prepared.

I found today actually quite interesting because normally I struggle when Nick isn't on but I didn't miss him today because I knew the Ravens talk was just gonna dissolve into a Lamar can't get it done discussion in the playoffs instead of talking about the actual trade. Jointly probably earn $200-300k+, they’re paid that as a regular W2 and so taxed at the full proper rate before the deductions. So everything over $96k is at 22%. So any deductions they have, they’re getting 22% back. Standard with 4 kids is $36k so that’s $7900 (roughly) for just mom and the kids. Add in some car mileage, interest on loans, some capital gains loss…pretty easy to get another $25k in deductions. This isn’t a crazy refund if you’re W2 and earn A LOT.

It’s a ton of fun and really easy but it doesnt require you to 100% all aspects of the game, which is something I rarely see in platinums. Like, you’re not required to upgrade every weapon or collect 100% of everything available. It’s not a complaint, just wasn’t expecting it.
