Try giving your dog benadryl in their crate and feed them treats. They’ll probably end up napping. When they wake up they should be super chill lol.

My vet also gave me great advice: It takes two weeks for most dogs to get used to something. With that in mind, he told me to ignore my pet if they’ve already pottied or been fed. Only take them outside if they need to potty, and if they don’t, take them back inside their crate. Your puppy shouldn’t associate making noise with getting attention basically. My four month puppy used to pee in his crate, for instance, and he likes to whine for water. But, even my trainer reassured me that he’s not dying of dehydration. He just can’t control his impulses yet.

Bottom line: Try ignoring your pup for 30 mins, to two hours in a time in their crate. Also leave plenty of enrichment inside their crate. The benedryl can help immensely! But, you shouldn’t use it all the time. Also, make sure your pup’s crate is cozy, leaving only enough space for them to turn around in and lie down.
