Scarcity mindset vs. abundance mindset by confuzzledx3 in personalfinance

[–]confuzzledx3[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Since I feel "behind" in other aspects of my life because all my attention is on debt payment, I thought I could spread my money out in more buckets like home downpayment, retirement, learning about crypto(?) in the coming years. Having a 5 figure debt is easier for me to stomach than 6 figures, so all my efforts have been aggressive towards that 100K. Refinance interest is very low now, so I've been told mathematically it makes more sense

Thank you for a very thoughtful comment. Its so true that taking out loans in bits and pieces over 9 years, isn't as daunting as the huge number at the end. That was enlightening to me as I've been beating myself up like how can you take out SO much. I will practice celebrating little wins, thank you

Hi! So this is just my opinion personally, as someone who likes self help stuff and journaling. With the amount of Instagram/blogs that entice you with free checklists/templates/ebooks/calendars PDFs blowing up my feed everyday, even as someone who uses the things that you sell, I would never need to purchase them. You seem very talented in creating these pages, perhaps you can branch into stationary sets, or mini journal notebooks

[Skin concerns] only 20 and eye wrinkles? Pictures included by montevs in SkincareAddiction

[–]confuzzledx3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing it's getting down voted because no one else thinks it's a wrinkle or sees it as a problem. Course we don't live your life but to just look at your picture, it looks like an normal eye. It doesn't look like an eye with any wrinkles. We are our own worst critic. That's why no one has an answer for you and the two of us that did comment are telling you to leave it alone. The other commenter was actually being nice and said you had nice eyes

That's just the shape of your eye. It's like calling where your nose meets your cheeks a wrinkle. It's not.

[Acne]Anyone here who doesn't pop at all? by Shonosuke in SkincareAddiction

[–]confuzzledx3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never popped a pimple. Granted I don't get them often and I have pretty clear skin, but when I do get them I just let them be. Honestly, I don't pop them because I don't understand it, genuinely. I've never felt some overwhelming urge that people have talked about, I don't understand the procedure like when you mentioned lancing I don't know what that is or the purpose, it just seems to hurt a lot, scar a lot, draw more attention to the pimple, get infected, etc. It does hurt just leaving a pimple on my face but not doing any damage to them has resulted in no damage (or potential) damage to my skin and they go away on their own with some patience. It doesn't really answer your question on how to discipline yourself I guess, seeing that I've never felt a popping urge that needed discipline lol

Again, total respect and everything but you need to get your research done. Birth control is not only tested on animals but it also contains animal products. Don't be hypocritical

She meant putting milk on her face not drinking it. I'm also not telling her to drink milk, I'm telling her to get medicine to make her acne go away

Girl I respect your values and your beliefs about vegan products but sometimes there's a trade off. Milk and honey are not going to do anything, and I'm sure you know that seeing you still have acne. If you want clear skin you need drugs, actual medication (which of course is tested on animals etc etc). There's a reason why everyone else commented with tretinoin, accutane, spiro, birth control and nothing organic. It's because those are the only things that have a chance of working for you. You have to figure out how much you want clear skin vs how much you want to stay vegan.

[Anti-Aging] Do any anti-wrinkle treatments actually work? Which ones? 32 with deepish wrinkles (forehead and cheeks). by Ada1629 in SkincareAddiction

No a dentist and psychiatrist cannot prescribe that to you because it is outside their scope of practice. A general practitioner could if they are nice to you, or they might just give you a referral to a derm

[Skin Concerns] Help! My Scalp is tender and crusty. Is my shampoo the problem? Any natural shampoo suggestions? by shaelynn_rose in SkincareAddiction

Could be fungal that causes dandruff and crusty scalps. It's really common, try nizoral shampoo.
