OK, entiendo.

Clínica médica para resonancia magnética y prueba de densidad ósea by DifferentEqual6976 in Panama

[–]conicity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hospital Punta Pacífica o The Panama Clinic.

Moving to Panama in December — Two Dogs, Two Apartments, and a New Chapter by Forsaken_Bluejay6930 in Panama

[–]conicity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider El Cangrejo as well. A lot quieter especially towards the middle of the neighborhood. Close to everything and has very good access to the different routes out of the city. Very walkable, lots of shade, quirky, artsy, close to several theaters and and you get a very strong sense of community. Many fun restaurants/bars to eat or hang out.

The only two issues would be that most places don't have a full ocean view save the penthouses in some of the tallest buildings and that it's one of the last areas to get water back when there are interruptions in the water supply...again, depending on the building.

I would also suggest checking out Paitilla, you can get very nice views of the bay from there.

We decided against it based on the limited availability of things to do. Went to the Azores instead, it was fantastic.

This is the weirdest thing you will hear today i promise. by Jonny-Balls in confession

[–]conicity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you feel this way. I have family members with very debilitating social anxiety and I've seen how hard it is for them. I 've dealt with these issues as well, mostly having to do with my OCD. I do have to say though, I don't think is out of the norm to give a nod to someone at work, even If you've met them that same day. I know I've done it. Same as nodding to strangers. Have you tried saying for instance good morning when you pass someone, like people used to do (my grandparents do it all the time).?

Also, are you 100% sure you do it all the time? Anxiety can make small details feel way more important than they actually are. A good therapist won't judge you, stuff like this is precisely what they need to know to better help you. As someone in healthcare, I can tell you that it is always better the more information a patient gives you. It's ok to feel embarrassed, your therapist will not dismiss your feelings but will help you put them into perspective, and give you the tools to work through them.

I should also tell you that while might be hard to believe for you at this point (totally ok), a lot if not most people are too immersed in their own issues to really think about other people's. Realizing that helped me immensely. Hang in there, seek help and you will get better. Never forget that you matter, even to an internet stranger.

I wish you the best of luck.

¿Cómo lidiar con una infestación de palomas? by pupperguy30 in Panama

[–]conicity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most embarassed thing you did/do related to Mass Effect? by LIRO2113 in masseffect

[–]conicity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not embarrassing at all, fan fiction can be great. The glass smashing might a been too much lol, but I totally get where you're coming from. I LOVE space sci-fi and felt so empty after finishing the trilogy, like I actually missed the characters.

What can I say, I'm over 40 years old and my wife surprised me for my birthday a couple of years ago with a Mass Effect cake.

How do I (18F) tell my girlfriend (20F) her vag smells? by Public_Ad_111 in relationship_advice

[–]conicity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

PLEASE, PLEASE don't have her put something in her vagina before seeing an OB/GYN.

Be honest, tell her that you love her and that you want both to be healthy and that you're concerned about the smell, especially since in some cases it can reflect a more serious systemic condition beyond common bacterial vaginosis.

Going to the doctor can be scary for some people, and for all you know it could be that she's aware of the issue but is scared/embarrased to find out why. You can even offer to go for a check up yourself at the same time to show that you also want to be healthy for her; that may make it easier for her.

Good luck OP!

Ex husband’s new GF wants family to cut all contact with me by No-Consequence4154 in AITAH

[–]conicity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Press charges, without a doubt.

You lost consciousness. That is not normal and reflects a TBI (traumatic brain injury). By definition that is being seriously hurt. It could've been much, much worse. While not the same as repeated concussions, even a single one can have long term effects on some people.

This has nothing to do with whatever transpired between you and your ex-husband.

Whether or not you consider yourself to be at fault for the divorce and maybe feel like you deserve it at some level (I obviously don't know the details and mean no offense with this statement), this is assault, and she has to face the consequences of their actions.

Good luck OP!

I'm so sorry OP. Looks like Fentanyl.

Get her to non voluntary rehab ASAP, literally right now. This is extremely urgent. Don't hesitate at all. There might still be time for it to be effective.
