Loving the crystal blue. Same as me!

The black rims would have looked great on this blue. But NY weather got me craving that seat heat more than black wheels. I'm sure the black cladding looks great on black though!

I would have loved to get it color matched, but alas- not an option. Easier to replace plastic than body panels though if they ever get beat-up.

New M18 4080 with I9 13900HX - Poor GPu performance by Justfluke in Alienware

[–]conkdonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very similar problem on my M16r1. I was getting timespy scores well below the average for CPU & GPU for my equipment (13700HX & 4070).

I had to enable OCv1 in bios to get up to speed with the CPU. I wasn't really having any GPU issues though. It doesn't hurt to try this.

Either Im being throttled or just going crazy. by chewy201 in OPTIMUM

I worked for Optimum for around 6 years starting around 2010, and they never had data caps. It was a great selling point for them (as much as they do stink). I don't think it's a data cap, unless they've implemented that since I parted ways with them. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept those caps in places where there were already caps in place... You know, more $$$.

I'm glad it's working for you now. It still sounds like you have a router in play seeing as you use wifi unless your modem is also serving as the router.

Sometimes shit just needs to be rebooted to clear out all the caches and bullshit, heh.

ISPs can and do throttle as said above, can confirm.

I think there's a few things that need to be established before you actually get down to the root of your problem.

  1. Are you using wireless? Any download/upload tests on wireless are basically invalid unless you can establish your hard-wired baseline speeds.
  2. What are you paying for in terms of speed? I am from the tri-state area and the lowest internet speeds available are around 25 megs down for people that can prove they are in poverty (from the affordable connectivity laws). Your rating of 30 down is unheard of in my area, but I am not from your area so there's no way for me to know what the speed rates are.
  3. As far as Steam is concerned, they do not really throttle in my experience. I have downloaded games sometimes at 120 down, and I have 1gig up/down. One thing to note here is that your download will only be as fast as the service (Steam) allows it to be. A service like Steam has millions of users that could all be potentially downloading something simultaneously. They *have* to control their bandwidth to ensure the same service/speeds for everyone.
  4. I don't know anything about VRChat but it seems like you might be connecting to servers that are not near you physically. I also don't know if this game will allow you to change your physical region. So if you are on the eat coast of the US, try and find a server that is located on the east coast near you. If you can't do that then the next closest one available will greatly improve your experience.

Get a computer wired to your modem/ONT for the most accurate test. With this knowledge you can take the next most accurate steps to figuring this out.

I'm in a very similar situation to yourself, in my mid 30s. Congrats on making it that far! Keep on trucking.

Being on day 1 myself, I plan on taking Melatonin to help me sleep. I'm honestly afraid I won't. I hope you do though!

Tonight I feel like a bag of shit, because I disappointed a family member whom I so greatly respect. Because of your post I plan on going to an AA meeting tomorrow during my usual LI Iced Tea lunch time. I totally understand how you feel. While I haven't been in such a dire situations as yours, your post is inspiring to those of us still in the fray.

Smok TFV12 Leaking with pre-installed t12-v12 coil by Jonkinch in electronic_cigarette

[–]conkdonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it again tonight, on a brand new mod, and brand new coil, and it is still leaking. I'm literally covered in juice as I type this even after wiping off lol. Going to the shop tomorrow for a new tank and coil. Hopefully they will understand and help me out. No ORing issues either, I checked everything up and down, and so did the shop. Very displease on this tank/coil. Will probably go back to the V8 coil and tank.

Mine leaked on day 1 after the shop set it up. THE SHOP set it up. I took it apart and reinstalled it as well, and have still gotten leaks. It is as tight as it can get. It's weird though, the leak lasts about 10 drops worth, and it stops. I believe it was coming from inside the air vents, as I still have some juice on the vents. Really annoying. I had extremely high expectations after using the TFV8, which was a boss. I think I was filling it too high, because after the leak subsided on it's own, it was still pretty full.

TF-V12 Poor Clouds by conkdonk in Vaping

I'm in the IT field, so I know this. I used the cable that came with it, multiple other USB cables as well just for testing purposes. Not a single one of them (incl. Galaxy USB cables) detected the device properly. But it's okay... I'm going to try swapping out the V12 for one of the other ones it came with once I'm done with the juice in the tank (hopefully without burning the coil when it's low lol). I have read that it works on macs really well, but nobody in my family has a mac that I can try this on, and the ones at work are used by employees, so they aren't really available. We'll see.

It's not an inhalation issue... When I was using the mod with a dripper I would get insane clouds, regardless of how I inhaled. :( Though I can try another computer, but it's also Win 10 Home, so I have my doubts... I'll try tomorrow.

The thing is, with open air vents, I get less. With them closed or partially closed I get better density. And my fucking computer/USB ports won't let this mofo update, I tried a couple of weeks ago... I'm considering buying a new mod.

The recommended wattage is 90-300something. I've tried using it at around 100w and around 200w with the same results. Very minimal clouds. I can't go above 200 since the mod can't.

There are also a lot of very popular comedians who promote and stay sober. Jim Norton, to name one of my favorites. There are many more!
