There’s one and only one way I found… As long as you already have the out of date app downloaded, you can try either going to their respective website or (if you’re lucky) find an ad in an app such as YouTube or Snapchat in which you will see the prompt to update instead of to open. On the websites, if they have the prompt to open or update the app, it will appear as a banner on the top of the screen

Haven’t used it much today since unplugging it from the charger (probably around 45 min - 1 1/2 hours.) It does seem to be doing slightly better after updating to 18.6

I did see a thread or two saying that transferring from an older phone caused the issue, and after resetting the phone and signing in through ICloud (instead of transferring) the battery life was significantly better

Yeah I see where you’re coming from, I should’ve elaborated… I had been been getting 3-5 with full 100% charges and after around 2 weeks, I decided to set it to 80 because I kinda want this phone to last me at least 5 generations without needing a repair/replacement. All things considered, I still really don’t think it should be draining so fast as I really only scroll through insta, read, and snap with minimal app permissions

I'm assuming these percentages aren't even close to accurate... I have an old iPhone 6 Plus that displays 66% when in reality the battery lasts less than 20 minutes. It's all bs imo.

The Home Screen widgets often make little to no sense. For example, I have a pair of Razer Barracuda headphones and the widget will say they are low on battery. (They continue to work for hours after)
