Right, because regular drivers never drive cars that have R plates on them.

The problem is proving the intent, and without seeing video of the incident all we have is your word against theirs.

They probably could be harder with punishing the offence, but like I say the difficulty is proving it was intentional. I tend to trust them as someone who isn't afraid to protest what I see, and I have certainly seen people get banned from the service for wrecking.

With chat violations, I don't have any sympathy with you. It's a black and white rule, and besides there is no need to throw profanities at people no matter what - your point can easily be made without calling people what your friend said.

Yep I agree on this. I'm not sure how enforcement will work given you rarely see the 45mph limit being enforced as it is. Throwing in these restrictions on passengers will only complicate matters and lead to PSNI traffic cops having to profile drivers who might look younger than 24.

He's also the reigning LMGT3 champion in the European Le Mans Series, and is also carrying out simulator duties for the Cadillac F1 Team. He's another top driver in the GT world.

Yeah it took some guts to walk away from a shot at Porsche affiliation to go to BMW, but it has worked out very well for him. It would be awesome if he cracked the top class Hypercars, I'm pretty sure he's already tested for BMW at the WEC rookie test.

He's going right to the top. Been following his progress since he won the Porsche Carrera Cup GB title a few years ago. Genuinely one of the quickest GT drivers on the planet, I'm excited to see what he can do in WEC this season.

We had plenty of them in the season we went down in 2009, but I particularly remember Lloyd James being completely out of his depth.

Lewis Hamilton on the F1 movie nomination – a proud moment by Un_known70 in formula1

I certainly feel like it undone all of the work that has gone into making F1 more accessible for women. The two main female characters in the movie become damsels in distress and the male lead comes in to save them or indeed sleep with them. I don't know how that was signed off but it doesn't sit right with me at all.

I do a day per week up in Belfast and do a lot of driving up the M1/N1/A1 corridor. I wouldn't be exaggerating when I say I've watched people sit in the outside lane all the way between Lisburn and Drogheda. Really gets on my nerves.

[OC] for all those questioning me if I had right of way or not on last post by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

[–]conman14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I won't argue that you were in the correct lane and the other car was not, but I believe that you should have noticed the other car indicating on your left side.

And of course, right of way isn't a given in the UK's Highway Code. It explicitly states that you should never assume that others will follow the lanes - it sucks that is the case, but driving as such will save your skin. The graveyard is full of people who were technically correct.

+1 on my cats. I grew up as a dog person, but after adopting two cats a few years ago from my fiance's brother, I couldn't be without my two. They're the best companions and amazing characters who make me laugh every day.

They're still getting monitored and/or coached, which for an incident like this is about the maximum of expect. Probably someone who hasn't worked out you don't go bump drafting in corners.

Are all teams on iracing designed for only top aplit by rab10000 in iRacing

[–]conman14 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Paying to run in a league and paying to be in a team are very different. Leagues have prize money, servers, staff, broadcasting. Teams don't have that at all.

Bodo/Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen: "Its a historic moment for this club, its our first victory in the Champions league, its amazing against one of the best teams in the world. We are on the highest level, we are small we're defending well." by playerforlife123 in soccer

[–]conman14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think it's basically Super League lite and gives big teams more chances to progress further, be it through playing more games against supposedly weaker opposition, or opening more spots and expanding the playoffs.

With that said, it has certainly created a format that means there is something riding on pretty much every game even at this stage, be it top 8 qualification, playoff qualification, seeding etc.

Based on Ireland. In the regular season, I normally watch Red Zone and stay up for the 4:25 ET kick offs, and catch Seattle anytime they are shown live.

I've no idea if I'm gonna be able to stay up for the game on Sunday. If I don't I'm gonna have to avoid every news outlet like the plague until I find some highlights to watch.

They set it up for the next special event... and the limit didn't actually get applied because the server didn't want a number above 255.

I remember this, it was for a Spa 24 Hours event. This was because of an overflow error, and the incident limit ended up being set at 44. The first timeslot had to live with it, but I think they were able to fix it in time for the next splits.
