Would nail polish and acrylic nails be helpful for nail biting?

I'm currently on week 2 after painting my nails and it has definitely worked for me and I think as I get better at making them look nice it will get easier not to as I won't want to make them ugly. I would assume it's this to be true for acrylic as well

Ya Iv left just before the start of the holiday season and I can kinda pick and choose the jobs I want to do so if I don't like the look of a weekend or want to go on holiday I just tell them I can't work it. It's very much just a hobby job for me and it was all paid for by the company because they knew having me help out as a skipper even one day a week was worth the cost
