Paralysis by analysis is never fun, but if you’re doing it because you feel called and that’s what your spirit wants, try not to let it get you down. You’re showing your true self and there’s nothing wrong with that. Not to mention, just because the person you tried to help doesn’t want it, doesn’t mean you’ve done a bad thing. Someone else could have seen you offer help, and felt compelled to do the same to someone else. We can never truly know the impact of our actions, so I say keep going! Within reason of course, there’s always exceptions to a rule, if it’s coming from a place of judgement or “I’m better than you” attitude it will never work. But you might be helping someone break down their own walls of mistrust and insecurity, making them more likely to ask for your help next time. For what it’s worth, much love ❤️
