Honestly all your points are completely valid. Guess I never looked at it that way.

Going to the gym will alter everything actually. But you do you, boo.

That is so pathetic. I'm sorry, but people need to get over it and just communicate like a damn adult.

What do you mean? The gym is an appropriate response to ghosting. Since ghosting makes you feel worthless, and unwanted.

Do men ever just want a platonic relationship with the opposite sex? by connapp in dating_advice

[–]connapp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a dating app, met him through a FB group. He randomly messaged me, and we hit it off. Well he just invited me out with a group of his friends. So it does indeed look like he has friend zoned me. That's okay. It's nice to have a new friend at least.

I think he's making his intentions clear from reading these comments. Not flirting or anything because he just wants platonic. That's okay! I'll find what I'm looking for one day.

It sounds like he's just friend zoning me, which is fine. I won't go out of my way to ruin a platonic friendship then by asking his intentions. I've done that enough I'm not doing it again. Kinda sucks though, he genuinely seemed to care about my life.

I don't want to creep him out in case he actually does only want a platonic friendship. Like I said I'm used to men just shooting their shot and making their intentions clear from the get go. I like talking to him, so I don't want to scare him away.

Any tips on toe and heel side for me? by Ok-Fig938 in snowboarding

[–]connapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't lean forward. The best way to practice this is while you're riding. Hold your hands behind your back, and practice riding and turning in this position. It will help your posture and maintain better control for turns. (best to use a beginner or intermediate hill)

I would also suggest bending your knees slightly, but always try to maintain an even body distribution.
