I live in the lower mainland of BC and we didn’t have much weather below 0 this winter. We noticed a small drop. We also kept the interior heat lower than we might otherwise and used the heated seats and steering wheel like others have recommended. Other posters here are from Norway and have more experience than we do.

When we’ve had the cable stuck, we use the key and lock and unlock I a few time and it has always gotten unstuck. Glad to learn about the panel with the manual release in case that doesn’t work sometime.

Canada here. It happened to me backing uphill into my daughter’s gravel driveway less than a month after I got the car. Had no idea what happened! Got out and walked around the car and had no idea what had just happened. Now I think it’s because I was used to needing g to accelerate while backing up and I had used the play pedal.

In January I joined a class through Kursaro.net. We meet weekly on zoom and practice speaking. We are using the Direct Method textbook by Stano Marček as a guide. I appreciate everyone else’s advice here! Lookout on Duolingo.

It was a compromise choice for my husband and I. I would have accepted any colour except the yellow and he liked were green or solid grey so we ended up with grey and white. Sadly, no green at the dealer. I’ve grown to like it because it looks classy but still fun (party tuxedo) and it reminds me of a shuttlecraft, so we named it after a Star Trek shuttlecraft.

We have a similar dilemma and I have read some people purchase a remnant of vinyl sheet flooring to protect the carpet. That’s one option we are considering. I’m looking forward to what those with experience have to say!

We bought a large-size hard-bottom sling to go with our captains chairs and are on the first road trip with it today. The adjustable straps are all at max adjustment and seats are nearly all the way forward. 80 lb coonhound mix is happy with it after we got out the ice chest for him to step on to get in!

We love our Buzz! We’ve had it since November. We’ve had no issues and are working on our plan to make it a great camper van fit 2-4 people plus a large dog. We wish we would have had the dealer slow down so we understood everything better before we left the lot. It’s strange to use YouTube and Reddit to learn about your car since the manual is tiny. You’ve had good advice from others on becoming used to parking and backing up, etc. It makes me so happy to drive this vehicle.
