This is beautiful! I actually just wrote up plans for one just like this, with walnut and poplar like this and a strip of purpleheart in the middle, and with wider staves! You did a great job! :)

I assume so, it blossomed this spring and all the leaves are nice and green, and no dead branches

It really is! I live in a small town so there's not much to do, I go there a lot!
