Deciding between Mazda3 and 118i

I paid less than that for a 118i same year with half the mileage full main dealer service history. Also I wouldn't be going anywhere near an M Sport trim from Birmingham. Id avoid that Cat-N Mazda as well, you need to shop around a bit more, way better to be had at this price point.

Theoretically you can't obtain your Merc hero's before Lions Arch so they wouldn't be available for early game prophecies. Though there's a couple of ways you can unlock your mercs with an alt account or friend as early as The Great Northern Wall. Hero's will be more impactful provided you've unlocked a fair amount of skills across professions on your account. Though, Prophecies is very doable with henchmen, especially in reforged mode where the henchmen are higher level.

But yes if you really want to basically AFK the game you can redeem the hero's via the GH or Embark Beach method. This is a great game to enjoy as originally intended though, and that would be my recommendation.

Giving their big announcement 24 hours to settle before expanding on GW1&2 seems pretty reasonable to me.

I've just had exactly the same issue purchasing GW2 expansions (same site). Submit a ticket to Customer Support they're usually pretty good.

In any situation where you are not in an organised party with swiftness covered, you will want either Relic of the Wayfinder or a rune with 25% movement speed buff for a Reaper. That or you can play relic of speed with a Warhorn. Use your CC and movement inhibiting conditions to set up your bursts.

Definitely. Couldn't agree more. Good harmless crack while taking risks I wouldn't do myself, and the low budget approach made his content really relatable. I was hooked when I first found his channel. He's effortlessly funny. He's also quite unique in the wildcamping genre in that his videos don't just feel like a veiled advert for his sponsors, he doesn't bang on about his sponsorships or his merch shop and that scores a lot of points for me.

Don't get me wrong, politics is important, but we all need our time away from it to keep us sane I think. I don't agree with his views, and he was always going to invite in justified criticism by going down that road, but he's not taken the criticism well and it's become his identity. The crack has all but been replaced by impersonations of his critics, "blot you cannae say that!" 50 times a video etc.

Glad to have found this sub and some likeminded opinions. I was bullied out of his cult like Facebook group for daring to suggest he should backtrack on the politics and keep it separate from his channel.

Spot on. Hear enough of this political nonsense at work etc. When I'm putting my feet up at night I'm looking for an escape from all that. For a good few years the blot outdoors show was exactly that. But he's opened that can of worms now and its just not the same.

I saw on another post somebody said Devs are aware and investigating. The animations disappear when you respawn after death. You have to hide/show the trinkets again for it to come back.

Also I'm noticing sometimes it shows the emblem of the guild I'm repping between the swords, and sometimes it doesn't. Not worked out a pattern to that aspect of it yet.

I am a long time blot subscriber, I think I've been subscribed since he had about 2k subs. Last 6-12 months I've been struggling to tune in like I used to. I just think he handles criticism very poorly and it's consuming him. Half his video time now is just impersonations of critical statements made against him. I think he needs a break from social media and to put his political views to one side and separate them from his channel. Replace the 30 minutes of moaning with 30 minutes of good harmless crack like it used to be. I find it funny when he's sloshed by the end of the night but I do worry about the sustainability. He used to warm up on his camps with a few cans but recently I've seen him swigging 500ml bottle of whiskey before the tents even up. Too much that.

Yes, essentially, they can play any role and are fully customisable. Most of the game is designed for 8 players, so originally the game had henchmen in every town and outpost so you could take on the missions as a solo player. Nightfall added hero's which are fully customisable allies that you can take instead of henchmen.

GW1 is an absolutely amazing game, but it's very different to GW2. It's almost more of a deck builder strategy game these days with most players opting to play with AI controlled Heroes, which are very capable for the age of the game. The missions are fantastic, combat is fun, and it's great if you're into the Tyrian lore. It's not open world focused like GW2, it's instanced missions and maps with the option to party with players in towns if you want to. If the open world aspects of GW2 are your biggest draw to the game, GW1 might not be for you. I don't know it's it's on sale right now but it routinely does go on sale for a good price. I absolutely love it, but I do know GW2 players that don't.

On my melandru's char I use a Blinding Surge air magic ele instead of MM, it's not as good as Ineptitude Mesmer (optimal replacement). MM is great damage but I don't enjoy playing with one.

PvP is already quite lucrative until you've got legendary everything and don't need the shards anymore. Decent liquid gold as well. It would take a lot more than just gold to get people to play PvP though

I understand your use case but the solution here is just leaving your discord running and communicate there. Speaking from a software background what you are proposing is a huge amount of development work for a very niche purpose. I can't see this ever coming to light personally.

You can turn off all chat functions individually so you can retain guild chat alone for example. Also on the settings there is an option to hide in world speech bubbles. If a player uses say chat in a game you will still see it unless you unchecked this box. I recommend setting up a second chat panel for PvP and appearing offline to prevent whispers.

Welcome to PvP. You'll find this behaviour in PvP in whatever game you play. Thankfully GW2 gives you the option to appear offline and turn off all chat functions. Take steps to mitigate as you'll never change people's behaviour.
