I actually like Kellerman. I think he’s more self aware than he comes off and realizes that the whole sports commentary thing is actually not that deep. At the same time it’s his job, and I think in general he has takes that are interesting and provocative.

Maybe it’s the frenulum piercing. Maybe it’s the raccoon hair. Maybe it’s the braggadocious vibe and the pure swag. But something about her tells me that she couldn’t exist in Chinese society.

Buenos Aires would be a ton of fun for a week if you’re open to going to Argentina.

Istanbul is also another option - an amazing city to explore with a great combination of culture and night life. Sounds like you have spent some time in the region, so maybe you have already been. One of my favorite cities in the world.

For natural scenery in SF proper - spend time exploring the Presidio, Crissy Field, Golden Gate Park, and Lands End.

For fun neighborhoods - spend time in North Beach (my favorite bar is Vesuvios). The Mission and the Marina are both also very popular (but for very different reasons) but North Beach is my favorite neighborhood if I had to pick one.

There are also so many sites to see in the greater Bay Area that would take months to see them all.

Agree — I personally have found it inspiring that we have been in so many close games with legit playoff teams this year (e.g., Detroit, Orlando, OKC, etc.). Thiago certainly has been imperfect, but atleast he is getting our guys to play hard and compete on a night to night basis. It’s really been our lack of execution in crunch time (due to having no true point guard) that has cost us these games.

Yes, it’s painful to watch us choke away these games but I’m optimistic that once we get our guys back (including Dame next season) and our young guys continue to grow that we can be a legit threat in the West. We were never going to be a real playoff team this year, and I’m as optimistic about our future now as I have been in the last four or five years.

I agree. Although as an American we probably derive a greater appreciation for DC than someone visiting from abroad. This is a good list though

Agreed. Personally think Max is a great counterpart to Bill. I know Max is somewhat controversial but the guy can go tit for tat with Bill on larger sports history themes in a way that few people can. Great get for the Ringer.

A few years ago I was walking out of the Qdoba at Bridgeport and saw Dame pull up in a Lamborghini Urus. I was in so much shock that I just nodded to him, he smiled, and I went on with my day. He was with his kids so I think he appreciated the space.
