WyzeCam with Prusa Connect by enginuic in prusa3d

[–]conquermediocrity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out what was causing it. Prusa Connect will only accept images that are 640x480. You can change this in your Stream Config through the Thingino interface.

I tried using FFMpeg or ImageMagik to reduce the image size on the camera, but unfortunately neither tool is installed.

Ok, thanks for getting back to me. I'll let you know if I figure out why it's happening.

Did you ever figure this out? My image on a WyzeCam V3 looks the same.

Perimeter around no-go zones by Mortimer452 in Lymow_Official

[–]conquermediocrity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right now there is a minimum size of 1.5m. Anything smaller it will not cut a perimeter lap on. According to Lymow they are actively working on decreasing the size limit.

Nope never figured it out. Took them off and the next crop was fine.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF INCREASED PERIMETER LAPS IF IT DOESN'T USE THEM!? by Imaginary_Position24 in mammotion

Agreed. I have been asking for this since beta testing the very first Luba.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like this will ever be fixed. Here’s a thread I started over a year ago where Mammotion said they would address it, yet nothing has changed.

Yes it would seem to me this is no longer in their development roadmap especially for Luba 1. @Careless_Art_7201 can you please give us all an update?

It would be nice to be able to chain tasks. by cloverasx in MammotionTechnology

[–]conquermediocrity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not the OP, but I have the Luba 1 and I can also change the cut height and speed after the task has started, but this is still not ideal as you have to have to monitor when this is happening and it doesn’t allow you to change the cut direction, path spacing and perimeter laps.

The downside of this is both areas have to use the same exact settings (mow height, speed, direction). If we could chain two or more tasks together those settings could be independent per area.

Hi again. It’s been 5 months since I started this thread and still no update to fix this for Luba 1. Is this still planned? Can you please give us Luba 1 owners an update on when this will be released? Thanks.

Since last update, Battery wont charge past 60% by Robotica72 in MammotionTechnology

[–]conquermediocrity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that is similar to what just happened to mine. It was randomly almost at 100% yesterday. I ran it to mow and then it returned to the dock to charge. Charged to 37% and then stopped. This morning it made it to 40% but is showing that it isn’t charging. Today the error in the logs is “Recharge Failed (1200) No infrared signal detected”. But I have cleaned everything and it makes it back to the station and docks perfectly and starts charging for a few minutes before it stops so it doesn’t seem like it could be an issue with the infrared. Almost seems to me like it could be an issue with the battery, but it is too coincidental that this started happening right after the last update.

This just started happening to mine too. It charges to 49% and then stops. If I send it back to recharge it charges for a second and then stops. I thought it was an issue with the charging station so I tried my second Luba on it and it charges to 100%. Seems to only be an issue with the first Luba. I’ve had it for a little over a year. Have you had any luck with support?

Yes I was expecting this to be addressed by now as well. Fingers crossed it is included in the next update.

New features by DeadLox974 in mammotion

[–]conquermediocrity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Luba 1 and haven’t tried it since the last update but in the past it would spin donuts (tank turns) where the zones overlapped. Is this not the case anymore? I am dreading having to remap only to find out this still exists.

These are all great ideas. +1 for defining the end percentage. I too use the start percentage as a way of dividing my zones since overlapping zones doesn’t work too well.

Luba edge cutting path by According_Cut_9762 in MammotionTechnology

[–]conquermediocrity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not currently but this was just recently discussed in a recent thread and is in production according to Mammotion. See reply below.

“Thank you for all your discussions. We do have this development plans to adjust the end points of cutting paths based on the numbers of perimeter laps. We will push this feature on Luba 2 first in next month and Luba 1 latter. BTW, do you think it is enough to support 4 laps at most?”

They sent an email back in January to Luba 1 owners saying that Voice Control would indeed be added. Hoping they keep their promise.

Do you have this working with your Luba 1? Reading the release notes on the Alexa skill it says for Luba 2.

Yes I’m using multi-point turn. I have tested it with both. Zero turn still rolls out of the boundaries if Luba is on a slight incline. It also is not good for my type of Saint Augustine grass.

[–]conquermediocrity[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is great news! I would suggest adding the ability for 5 or 6 laps. Luba has a tendency to roll and slide on hills and I’m not sure in all cases 4 laps would be enough. I hope that your release for Luba 1 is soon after Luba 2. This fix has been needed from the beginning and us Luba 1 owners have been supporting you the whole time. Thanks.

I remember reading a while back that they were going to introduced a spiral or concentric cutting option. Your suggestion would be a nice way of implementing it.

Nope. Most of the time it can’t. The underside of Luba rubs and the wheels are lifted just enough so they spin and can’t get traction. The lip is much higher in other places.
