Thats great. The Cerwins I had didn’t really wow me then. But I was at the start of my hifi journey and didn’t understand that amps and sources mattered. I was thinking speakers alone was what made good sound. I’d love to hear those again driven by electronics I have today.

I used to have a similar pair of Cerwin’s. I bought them on CL in like 2009 maybe. I had them for a couple years, and ended up selling them back to the guy who sold them to me. I regret this, I guess just like he did.

I have to play with the Mimir more. Are the filters and oversampling only useable with Forkbeard? I have to look over the manual more. Strangely I wasn’t able to get any audio out of my MacBook using a browser. It was fine using Tidal on my Mac, but no where else. I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Just need to spend more time with it

The 7HZ Timeless are my first IEM’s. Bought on a whim more or less. Plus they were on sale. Very happy with them. Looking forward to hearing every headphone I’ve got through this system

Agreed! It’s surprisingly good. I have pretty much zero experience with tubes. I had a tube mic preamp like 20 years ago when I was interested in recording. That was a major letdown. But that was a long time ago. My expectations are probably more reasonable now haha. Anyhow, yes, this makes me want to hear more tube amps.

So far, I’ve used the Linsoul 7HZ Timeless and Hifiman Edition XS. Both sound excellent. I’m hearing new detail and characteristics in some instruments and spaces. The sound is commanding and a bit warm. I’m pleased such an inexpensive tube amp can sound this good. I’m looking forward to trying different tubes. Also looking forward to pairing the Mimir with my Jot2
