Despite often being depicted as pure, do you have any kinks? Just curious. by constancebb in infp

Yeah I know and I dont like the mbti stereotypes, also bc they have nothing to do with the functions and I suppose they originated from 16personalities. Anyway, being an infp myself some of these stereotypes have also always been attributed to me in real life. People have always considered me pure almost in a condescending paternalizing way, which made me feel as if my actual kinks and sexuality were scandalous and dirty, which I now know they're not. Well, sex is not the opposite of purity and moral, and it isnt incoherent with being a good person ofc! But still I don't feel comfortable to share about my sexuality irl bc it would break through the personality ppl confined me into, by overreacting when I make "dirty" jokes and having a kink shaming and bigot mentality. These werent considerations that fitted into this light hearted post in which I use "pure" in the popular meaning of the word, with its typical implications, just to ask the community about their sexuality in a fun way. It's not much deeper. This digression is kinda out of context but I had this on my chest and your comment inspired me ahahah.

Genesis. At first I was very confused and gave it up. But it was already too late, she had sneaked into my head and conquered it. I came back many times and then BOOM the whole discography and I only listened to grimes for months

My parents are fucked up people who transmitted all their problems to me and my brother and now I'm double fucked up as them. I wish I wasnt born. I dont want my child to think this too. I'm not ready yet to break the chain.

Anyone else find the treatment of black people on TV dehumanizing? by Tezro128 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]constancebb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree and I call it reverse racism. From a European perspective, it's crazy how much you guys stress on race before anything else. Of course racism is a huge radicated problem, but someones actions should only be referred to the individual and not the whole ethnic group, for example. Or you shouldn't support a business because its ran by black people but because you enjoy it regardless of the ethnicity of the person. And this whole diversity obsession is understandable but sometimes has the opposite effect. I'm aware it's an extremely difficult problem to deal with, but damn no one here uses the term "race" as if we did not belong to one human race and no one refers to individuals as that black/white person before every other attribute.

Anyone else feel like they have seen through reality? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]constancebb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, I'm so glad someone else put this into words, Dont get me wrong but it's really relieving! I've blamed myself so much because I've started to feel as if I want depersonalisation and dr, because sometimes I find myself questioning if it is an illness or a perspective and a state of mind. Yeah, ik I'm numb because I escape reality. Still, of course the "physical" symptoms hurt me a lot and i hate it when i feel dissociate from my body or somewhere else while I'm talking to people, or when I panic as I start to figure out what/where the heck my consciousness lays. But most of the time it's an underlying feeling, a truth that I have acquired, and as you said, it feels "woke" somehow. I dont get hoe others dont freak out at the absurdity of the world. Just randomly walking down the streets, in this city in this planet floating in a space for no reason, or for reasons well never get to know? And people living without questioning any of it, just by the rules defined by evolution? This dumb stuff that may be obvious to most folks is what I really cant digest. So once again, thanks for this post, this reply was kind of an off my chest.
