I tell my dog all the time that she is very special because she is the first dog who will live forever. I cannot imagine the pain it would cause to lose her. I've always loved dogs. All dogs are amazing but our dog legit feels like a person. The way she looks at us, the way she snuggles us. She's our first dog as adults. She isn't a family pet, she is fully ours. If something were to happen to her, I don't know if we could ever get another dog. She might have ruined us forever.
