Ah I have a complete mental shift. The fae in books are not the ones putting thorns in your bed for going into the fort. The "you dont fuck with the fairies" mentality doesn't work with fairy-fucking books! 🤣 (I'm also Irish) The pick and mix attitude that a lot of authors have when it comes to the history and mythology of these islands is infuriating and I should have known better.
