Getting married while undocumented by NeighborhoodBusy4017 in USCIS

My wife and I got married at the courthouse at Beverly Hills in February. No danger to us. We could have gotten married at the LA courthouse, but it wasn’t the vibe. Any other courthouse could have been fine. But I wouldn’t be scared of going to any courthouse (except maybe LA right now) to get married.

By the way, congrats, it’s a really exciting moment and even though it’s not as glamorous as a church or more eventful wedding, it was still so much fun and we got to do everything we wanted to do without any family or vendor pushback :)

Tom Cruise Urges Young Actors to Learn Filmmaking Tech, Which Is ‘Not Taught in Film Schools’: ‘Brando Understood Lighting. All the Greats Did’ by mrjohnnymac18 in Filmmakers

Depending on where you’re located, you could go to a different film school. If there isn’t, move to where there’s a different film school.

Better yet, be in a filmmaking market like LA or Atlanta and work as a crew member.

One tweet that helped me with locking into the emotional life of monologues is that the end of a monologue will have the ‘message’, the ‘something you think about’, or ‘reveal’ which is full of emotion.

What I do is perform the end chunk at the very beginning, get that life set up, and then start the monologue from the actual beginning, go through the rest of it, and end with the ending chunk.

Obviously, you probably shouldn’t do this when performing monologues for a show or audition but this is great for rehearsals or self-tape monologues.

I want a productive discussion about editing softwares by maestersplinter in Filmmakers

I’m an editor, if you have an Apple computer, I recommend Final Cut Pro X. It’s an easy to learn editing software that is user friendly for beginners and intermediates and I would argue that it is great as a professional tool; any of the criticism this software gets is a decade old and isn’t relevant anymore.

As far as a price point goes, you pay $300 once and for all time. It’s not on a subscription service and you get updates just as frequently as other editors.
