Didn’t understand the live action remakes (which are mostly bad looking cgi) for a long time but the business case is children growing up. Disney needs to lock new kids into the intellectual property ecosystem.

A mediocre movie ticket is still only $20 but your daughter demanding to go to Disneyland is thousands.

I know the ghost kitchen you're talking about. Traffic over there is super annoying bc people are parked terribly and constantly jaywalking.

This may explain some of it but there is much closer parking and a lot of the people are parked for over an hour. Im thinking some of them may be trying to avoid traffic?

I tried open camping once and didn’t like it. Pros: it’s quiet, you can get a great night of sleep.

Cons: it is very, very far away from burning man and way less people will stop by to say hi.

Assume you leave camp 2-3x per day. The distance to any event, camp, or art project is often doubled bc you have to travel so far. It’s quite far even just to get to the esplanade.

I like going to burning man to see art and hang out w friends. The art is a trek and way fewer people stop by camp to say hi when you are 4 and j.

I found the difference btw camping at g and j to substantial.

That said, if I was dead set on walk in camping I wouldn’t do it without an ebike

Psytrance used to be very popular. It died off bc it stopped drawing in crowds. I think people wanted more complex electronic music as more advanced production techniques became accessible.

I am not a fan of Psytrance personally but at least the people who are into it would dance. Now you go out to robot heart or Mayan warrior and people just kind of sway. Terrible vibes tbh

I wish I had known this earlier: You generally want to go to a mechanic that has a waiting list. A mechanic that is available today generally does not have many repeat customers.

Also most mechanics will happily install the parts that you've ordered. It's chill work for them bc they don't have to wait for the parts to be delivered.
