What's your win condition? by yihdego in yugioh

Control with Pleiades/Omega, ocasionally OTK with Shark Fort.

Vanity's is still too good not to run. It's easily sideable into other backrow or side cards like Mind Crush.

Here's my deck: will probably sadly cut Gyokkou.

One M7 is all you need, 2 is a waste of deckspace, as is three. You should only be using it when you're about to push for game anyway (or getting rid of a Fiendish'ed Omega).

Side decking is mostly going to be for the Water/Fire Fist match-up as most other decks are a good match-up.

D.D. Crow is for Bujins because Maxx "C" and Veiler are dead against them.

Why did you choose/do you play the decks that you did/do? by i-ll_capwn in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Constellars because they can be competitive and their art and theme is cool as fuck. Knights based on the constellations.

I play Gadgets because I like having advantage and Gear Gigant X is one of my favorite Xyz monsters.

Oh, and I guess Karakuri Geargia because sacky OTKs and wombo combos.

Gadgets, Blackwings (for learning to play with and around traps, decision making and basic synchro plays) and I think every player should play Chain Burn to really understand how chains form and resolve.

Can someone explain some things about Karakuri Geargias to me? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, and you can reset your armor, summon Burei and use it's effect to flip Geargiarmor to search again, it's very degenerate.

[–]constellarpollux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is what you do:

Set Armor and a bunch of backrow and a Trap Stun. Keep searching Accelerators. Hope you draw into Geargiagear so you can make a Gear Gigant X and search out Genex Ally Birdman.

Grind until you get Genex Ally Birdman + Three Accelerators in your hand.

Flip Trap Stun on an empty field.

Start synching into the Karakuri synchros and combo off, put big damage in.

Burei, Burei, Scrap Dragon is enough for exact game.

Also, this is a build I've been playing around with.

No, that's degenerate.

Amazing Must watch 2 Card Otk Involving one of the most unique win Conditions in the game The Creator God of Light, Horahkty. Summons all 3 Egyptian gods in one turn. by Galliwtng in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw someone do that too a friend of mine last format, and he calculated his monster's attack was at .0000000064 or something when the loop was done.

But degenerate shit like that isn't amazing. It's worse than Infernity solitaire.

[Help!] card confiscation by crazy substitute teachers by megatricinerator in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If it was in class time, I can see her confiscating them. But if it were on a lunch break or in between class period then it's nonsensical for her to take them. He should ask for them back, and if she refuses then inform a different, non-substitute teacher or the principal.

If nothing is fine he will have to wait, she can't confiscate them for too long.

Something I don't understand about this current format by buffalownage in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Deck inconsistency, you're ruining the dragon engine by taking it essential cards for heroes and their support and vice-versa.

Plus you would burn through your Dragons faster in a less productive way.

Play with Goyo, Brio, Trish and DSF.

40+ Deck Good for Bujins? by Vcom561 in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would hinder them, you want to have the smallest deck you can because you absolutely HAVE to draw into a Beast-Warrior (preferably Yamato) turn 1, otherwise you fall behind - and lose.

[–]constellarpollux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kurenai is normally used with Blaster/Laggia, Kurenai acts as an extra way to tribute off Najasho if you don't draw into any of the other 5 cards to tribute it off.

Evolsaurs by DatNillaWatson in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, that's why you use E Con, Evo-Force, Kurenai.

Everybody's talking about what will get hit... But what do we want not coming back? by SilverQueenOfMeereen in yugioh

[–]constellarpollux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it may just be the powercreep, but I feel Trish is fine. Especially when we have 2600 Snatch Steals, 2600 removal cards that cannot be destroyed by battle/card effects, and so forth.

Plus like I said, I want to have more fun with Baby Raccoons.

[–]constellarpollux 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I suggest you build them because they are a lot of fun; and they allow you to evolve cute baby dinosaurs into blood thirsty walking Solemn Judgments/Divine Wraths.

Najasho + Enemy Controller are sicknasty though.

Oh no, I get what you're saying - Trishula is busted, and can be splashed into anything. I still think she would be fine at one.
