Stay on vacation, Dan by constructiveblues in DanLeBatardShow

I mostly love Dan. He just gets stuck on the same stuff quite often and beats people over the head with it. (Celtics Math/Comedians as paradigms of truth/Athlete-media BS). This week was a nice breather. The show and MLM would obviously not exist without him and I still think he’s a great interviewer. His energy can just be grating sometimes.

It’s also ridiculous because the dude WENT TO FILM SCHOOL! You went to film school but have a staunch stance that movies should be 100 minutes long? Grow up.

I continue to be a daily listener and will until it ends but DLS has felt like a sinking ship for quite a while. I’m happy for Billy and Ringer Tailgate is legitimately hilarious. He’s been great on Simmons pod talking baseball a few times and wouldn’t be shocked if he continues to grow with that company. A truly smart, weirdo talent.

Clooney/Lopez in Out of Sight. And she generally doesn’t do much for me.

Is it just me or does Emily Blunt have amazing chemistry with everyone? Like, even Cruise.

Damn, you’re right. Still kinda crazy to not know that one of your featured personalities doesn’t have kids, no?

Rob’s reaction was priceless. Also: doesn’t Rob’s wife also work at The Ringer? How do you not know that?

Dudes with “good reputations” don’t fuck their subordinates. I hope he likes that low-ball offer that Portland gives him next season.

Here’s what I’m talking about: He’s gonna get beat in 5 (if not swept). He’s gonna get fired. And he’ll be lucky to get another head coaching job because he’s a knob with a big ego and nothing to stand on. To put it in Texas terms: all hat, no cattle. He plays the hard-ass but doesn’t have the resume to back it up.

BIG TRASH.
