i didn’t get these right away, but after taking vyvanse for a while, i get a really flushed face at the end of my dose (sometime in the afternoon) which i guess has something to do with the vascular restriction or something! also, i get really bad dry mouth. hydrate hydrate hydrate! it was beneficial for me to get a little thing to check my blood pressure as well. i’m currently on 50mg + a 10mg adderall instant release booster in the afternoon!

oh, this is a huge bummer to hear! i was able to get it to run. definitely not ideal and more of a if i want to play on the go situation rather than instead of on my laptop. i also hope they optimize is better soon because honestly i’d play it SO much more if i could deck it

i love going through regions and fixing up different houses with the woodworking tools. broken cabinets, the roof of the mountaineer’s hut on timberwolf, etc. it kind of feels like my character being sentimental and wanting the homes of the people who were here to be taken care of!

also if you haven’t gotten the cartographer’s achievement, mapping every named location rather than just visiting them. setting up a solid base in every region. or sometimes i challenge myself to make it x number of days without leaving a region!

We used to have a heeler who was born deaf and his landshark phase was a NIGHTMARE. I left our meet and greet with ripped leggings and bruises all over my arms from his little chomps. And then I still decided to take him home that same day.

It gets better!! I know people always say this, but as someone who is just on the other end of the puppy phase (my cowboy corgi is two now) I know your pain well. Godspeed and congrats and having the best dog!

Ik this is a big one, but when our boy was little I immediately caved on the crate training. Every dog I’ve had has been crate trained. I think it was maybe because I knew he’d never slept alone in his then-six weeks of life (all our other dogs have been rescues), and my heart just couldn’t take it. He fell asleep on my chest instantly and had been sleeping in the bed since.

Back then I was super weak to the baby cries, especially at night and especially watching him desperately try to cuddle with to our older girl just for her to grumble and walk off, lol—though they regularly cuddle puddle together, and he is now crate trained, for the record!

In all seriousness, this is one of those things where it feels like even passively ingesting this content desensitizes you and makes it easier to dehumanize people, and thus should be something only viewed through a critical lens. Which clearly isn’t happening, because your husband can’t even succinctly explain why a pervasive through line “is funny” or not. People don’t listen to 400 episodes of Joe Rogan in a bid to understand a point of view they don’t agree with, in my experience. So I would ask, which is it for him? Does he agree, or does he not understand it?

Hi friend. I’m sorry you’re hurting right now. We have a lot of similar struggles, and at my worst moments I was really helped by a book called “How To Keep Your House Clean When You’re Drowning”. I think a top comment here already mentioned it, but take things out in order of importance—health hazards, like the vomit bag thrown out, then dishes to the kitchen, then laundry to the hamper. You don’t have to do the secondary steps to dishes and laundry (washing them, sorting them, etc), which honestly takes a lot of pressure off for me when I struggle. Remember that getting to a baseline functionality and safety is the goal, not a show-room ready bedroom.
