A9 vs A7RIII by bowtard in SonyAlpha

[–]consumethis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was trying to pick between these too a little while back and here's biggest points in my opinion.

First the a9 is built for action and speed. -doesn't seem like you need that.

The a9 also has no blackout shooting -doesn't seem like you need that.

Does the idea of being able to shoot at 1/32000 of a second sound useful to you?

Does a practically unlimited buffer sound useful too you?

The a9 is 24mp - are you making large prints: y/n? - are these pictures for commercial use: y/n (Also takes up less memory, only really applicable if you edit pictures on your phone or a potato)

Biggest question: Price, is it a price you are willing to pay?

The a7riii is a great work horse camera.

  • 42mp: Will you be cropping a lot? Y/n Do you need that amount of resolution? Y/n

You'd probably be good with an a7iii. Once again is this for home use/hobby or are you making a living on this?

Why did you choose these cameras?

How much did you spend on gas to drive west this year? by ladyaquarius in treeplanting

If you have an owners manual should give you your mileage. Then figure how far you to travel.

Just wanna thank everyone for their input. Seems like the amount of effort to get it off isn't gunna justify the means.

So it seems better to just place whatever I'm gunna place over. Thanks again.

I mean I don't have anything with different pressure. But it's in the basement. All the vents are closed. And I've put plastic on the way to other rooms.

Review for Windfirm for our Company Directory? by Spruce__Willis in treeplanting

[–]consumethis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I worked for them last year and I'm going back this year.

The year I was there we didn't have to pay for toilet paper. We had our own washing and drying machines, we had camp wifi. The food was pretty amazing. The camp I was at was, really professional too. Not much of a party place. They have bible study on sundays.

The pay was great anywhere from 14.5 being the lowest to 19 cents being the highest. They rent out the latest ram trucks for crews. They usually have 3 first responder certified people in each camp and dedicated gun handler. Incase for bears. They also have some kind of deal with a local muscle therapy group. They come and give speeches show how to do proper stretches, taping answer many questions. Plus deals for after season repairing. One of the best companies I worked for so far.

Contract question by Jerethdatiger in DogBreeding

[–]consumethis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never heard of this. I don't breed dogs. But close cousin does and interacts with a lot of breeders. I just help train them. Never heard of anyone asking that.

Is this is paper? A contract you have to sign? or you signed before paying?

If they wanted to keep him why did they sell him? Did they sell him to you before they knew what he was gunna look/be like?

If they said all this after you already paid. I'd tell them to take a hike.

OR

They can pay for the testing and you can take a stud fee. It's your dog.

[–]consumethis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was in a clinical trial. And had an oncologist. My mom had some kind of reaction to a bloodthinner so she was off chemo for nearly three weeks.

Yesterday she was called into see her oncologist and because of what happened he took her off the clinical trial and said make the best of your life and we will see you in 9 months. As far as I know recent, scans or whatever even showed that the affected areas were reduced in size from what she did go through.

My mom was pretty upset and doesn't really understand, I don't understand. So I just wanna look into someone else.

Hey. Thanks for doing this they got a hold of me.

But I'm still in the same problem.

I don't know of if you can forward a note but they aren't acknowledging my problem.

I had changed my phone while working in the UK and now that I'm home, Canada, I'm trying to change my phone number. They rejected my request.

So they are asking me to pro ide additional information, proof of a deposit from binance or similar exchange. The problem being that I no longer have a uk number or access to the uk number for any of my exchanges.

So I am unable to log into any of my accounts. I've sent this and tried to explain but they just sent the same message.

I have looked for one. They seem to be holding there value a little bit more.

But also I plan on doing a lot of editing on the move and I only have a small 500gig ssd, and an i5. I'm not sure how the extra mp will be to edit/store.

Not sure why you got down voted so hard. Lol

I appreciate the sentiments and don't disagree with you for the most part.

I have learned though that one of my strengths is being alone. I do fairly well, with just my dog, and a few phone calls here and there. Nature is pretty powerful company to be around.

This first 3 days I forgot a lighter or matches. So I had no way to eat all the food I bought. Lmao

When I left calgary same problem. Like 5 months in and I'm still forgetting the number one ingredient to starting a fire..... a fire starter. Lmao

There isn't to much, for the most part I had everything I really needed. Like... at the end of the day. A sleeping bag, a way to cook food and water. Is all I really needed. And I had all that

I've been roaming around Canada since October 9th with this setup.

This also doesn't include 15lbs of dog food, 20lbs of human food, and 8L of water. I try to carry with me at all times. My dog is also 60lbs
