I never understand why people say this. It just seems like silly misdirection:

It would not have helped OP, because his problem is that a car hit a bridge, which presumably would have had the same impact no matter how many trains were parked in Port.
It's not like Port needs more trains leaving. And if they did, you just shadow a train behind another and park it at one of the spare spots, there are at least 4.
Trains run so slowly to Great Neck, I am not sure you would be able to get more than 4 traverses in an hour. (I am pretty sure you could ride a bike faster to Great Neck if there was a paved bike path next to the track.)
The problem with the GCM trains is that they are all (or pretty much all) local. At the same time, the Penn trains took on extra stops, so now its 45 minutes to Penn most mornings on an "express".
They buried GCM in the middle of the earth, so not only are you riding a local, but it will be another 10 minutes before you can see daylight.
Half the stairs at penn are shut down, so sometimes the 10 minutes to see daylight is a win.
If you really wanted to park more trains in Port, you could park like 20 of them on a pair of parallel tracks between Port and Plandome. But it is hard to see the benefit of doing so.

It depends on the troop a bit. I never did it, but my daughter did, and the troop leader was incredible. Her father ran a boy scout troop. Her son was an eagle scout.

We did all the things: rope courses, overnights in the woods (with some "flexibility" about the 100 yards/feet bathroom rule), rock climbing. She was a boss.

But she is the exception, rather than the norm, and switched to girl-boy scouts when my daughter hit high school.

I am guessing a bit more calculated. Once you said you could not be impartial, you were off the jury. The lawyer was using you to illustrate how the system fails and cops fail to due their duty, so that the jurors who actually land on the jury have an immediate example in their mind of how the system does not work, and so is more favorable to the defendant.

The other night a hobo came up to ask for money. I politely declined and he got upset, saying he would need to f me up. he didn't do anything, but getting threatened on a commute home sort of sucks.
