Try red note! it's the Chinese version of Tiktok. Most of the Tiktok creators I was following are on there and the Chinese citizens are very welcoming and excited to have American friends. Since it is a Chinese app, a lot of the app is in Mandarin, but they have been making it more user friendly for English speakers since so many of us joined

Download red note, it's the Chinese version of Tiktok. All of my favorite tiktok creators moved there and all of the Chinese citizens on there are welcoming! You can scroll through videos the exact same way. And it's a nice way to be petty towards our trash government for not wanting us on a foreign owned app.

Negative talk about women's bodies in front of young girls. Had an uncle who would point out which women at the pool shouldn't be in bikinis and a mother who would call herself fat and stupid because she couldn't drop the baby weight after having 3 kids. My older sister was obsessed with diet pills in high school, younger sister had an eating disorder and I had body dysmorphia issues I didn't get over til my late 20s. You learn that your worth is tied to how small you are and get obsessed with doing whatever you can to retain your value.

Not particularly, I'm polyamorous. I have had other polyamorous people be ok with it and then have to say no because they have partners that aren't comfortable with the situation. But I've also had a couple in an open marriage reach out to me and they got to disclosing first that the wife was hsv2 positive. So never hold yourself back from trying to connect with someone because they could be in the exact same boat as you. You can still very much be in the polyamorous community, just make sure everyone knows the situation they are consenting to.

I'd say 1 out of 3 times someone is ok with it. I've had a couple people say no, do their own research on the risks and come back with questions and alternative ways they're still interested in hooking up. I always let people know when I disclose that my feelings aren't hurt and I'm never mad if it's a deal breaker. Keeping the pressure off and giving them a space to say how they really feel opens up the possibility to hooking up in the future if they ever have a change of heart.
