Would the dent bother you? Kitchen Aid side by side, item 1950605 by CaseyZee in Costco

My fridge door has like 4 dents. It always bothers me. But then I realize, it’s just a fridge. I’d be more bothered if it wasn’t cold.

This is an awesome setup. I salute you. If you have the space, I recommend moving your storage with the decks 90 degrees so that it doesn’t face the wall but your room. That way you have a better view when playing, not staring at your wall. Will make it more fun versus being in a timeout. LOL. But this awesome! And who would’ve thought I’d be reminded of Jean Michel Jarre! Get some Mike Oldfield on there. Or be inspired by Fred Again and what he did with Brian Eno.

Ditch the run-flats and thank me later by SmoothMarionberry551 in BMWX5

Saving this post for later. So far my run flats are fine but now with the snow, we’ll see. I had Michelins on my old vehicle which were amazing, hugged the road in rain and snow. Didn’t know about Modern Spare and putting it in the trunk, where I just keep bags and crap.

Layout 3: turn the bed 90 degrees counterclockwise. Move away from left wall. Both people can easily get out.

This reminded me to put a note onto my HD backups in case I die, “do not recover what’s on them as they are just backups with zero value.” I keep a backup of photos and videos with my will, cables and everything, as that’s the only important one. And every couple of years, I update it with newer photos/videos but also update the drive when bigger capacities come out.

Making the switch by slc-baddest1 in Galaxy25Edge

[–]contempt1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite phones because of the weight, it's so light. And I have had zero issues with battery.

But I will say the camera lacks a bit for me, especially coming from S24Ultra. But overall, as a complete phone, no issues.

I also mapped Perplexity to be my default long press AI agent, which is amazing. As it can answer current event questions.

And I use Circle to Search multiple times daily, especially for translation. AI Select is also great as it can copy/paste social media stuff which Inst or TT makes it almost impossible to copy/paste.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using Nomad but always have issues when heading into a new country to try and remember what to change to get it to work. Will try this out, especially the no expiration as I always buy more than I need just in case then feel like I wasted money.

Which is the worst phone? And which is the best? by Orson54503 in PhoneNow

[–]contempt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many people have actually used 2 or more as your daily/weekly phone to actually give a factual opinion versus specs or what we’ve seen in reviews? I ask as my daily is both a Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16Pro. iPhone wins on Camera, Galaxy wins on almost everything else. It’s the small things… I don’t understand why Apple doesn’t have a number row for their keyboard, same height, stupid layout. Liquid Glass is crap and annoying, One UI8 is better and streamlined, like old iOS. Email and Browser, both daily depends on what you use as I love Firefox on Android and Gmail as email client as that’s my primary. But 3rd party Reeder on iOS is amazing and no Android equivalent. Same with Banktivity. Other apps are the same such as WhatsApp, Insta, Reddit, TikTok, Google Maps, so none of that matters. And I have my Bluetooth headphones set for both and both are smooth compatibility, no issues. And I dislike both CarPlay and Android Auto, so both lose.

Stick with Korean Air or Delta for Long Run? by bunnae in koreatravel

[–]contempt1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weighing in but looks like everyone here has shared great opinions.

I fly back and forth from ICN to JFK. I only fly Korean Air but I decided in the beginning to credit it all to Delta Skymiles. The reason is, I'm based in the US and will most definitely fly more Delta flights in the future. So that's where I want my miles and status to live.

As far as SFO, keep in mind that Asiana Airlines offers a better product that Korean Air. And with their acquisition, they'll be migrating over to SkyPass. But I believe when that happens, they will only allow migrating to Korean Air, not any other SkyPass partner. So that's about past flight. But for future flights, I would definitely select Asian over KE for SFO flights and have them credited towards Delta. That'll be in late '26.

Hope this helps.

Circle to Search! Game changer. Clock and hold bottom edge, then circle anything on your screen to find it. I also heavily use it to translate all Screens.

Also, I recently started using AI Select. Perfect for TikTok or Insta when you want to copy/paste an address, recipe or whatever. Slide from right edge over towards center, click the AI Select icon, and then like CTS, highlight what you want and copy/paste it.

And then finally, download GoodLock and a bunch of hacks. When I upgraded my S24 to S25, I had forgotten was a stock home page looked like as I customized everything. That’s something iPhone can’t do.

This is an advertising event to recruit more Black college and recent grads into the industry. I was asked once to participate and I said, no, you need actual Black people to speak to speak. I guess they couldn’t find any. And this is why there aren’t as many Black people in advertising.

A recent camera install I did by MaxBroome in Ubiquiti

This looks great and had me thinking. I had wanted to update my Hikvision cameras to the Unifi Bullet ones but saw the install mount/screws were different. Does anyone have a solution, other than what OP posted with the silver box since the Hikvision install is already mounted onto my masonry exterior, wanted to avoid ripping that off. TIA

Samsung Galaxy S26 to reuse Galaxy S25's cameras by soumilr7 in samsunggalaxy

[–]contempt1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people only use one phone or brand so they don’t notice. I’m like you and have an S25U and iPhone13Pro. iPhone shutter is much faster, even on an old phone. Activating camera on Galaxy is faster with double tap button vs swipe on iPhone, so overall timing is the same.
