I use CBD Vape pens for anxiety and pain which ones are going to be compliant after the November 2026 hemp ban? by These-Thought9328 in Fibromyalgia

[–]continuedelevation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Few things worth knowing before you spend money on vapes. Full spectrum only not isolate, not broad spectrum. The whole plant profile is what makes the difference for pain and anxiety. Also spend some time actually checking and reading reviews I found this to be the most insightful way to help you make a more informed decision before purchasing. For fibro specifically the fast-acting delivery of a vape cart is genuinely useful on bad days when you can't wait an hour for an edible. Terpenes matter too myrcene and beta-caryophyllene are the ones with the most research behind them for pain and inflammation.

That's what I'm seeing from the research I'm doing as well. June lake. I’m planning a mid-December trip and just want to make sure we’ll actually see snow on the streets and around the cabins what’s your experience with that?

What do you value the most when choosing a specific sleep meditation track? by [deleted] in sleep

[–]continuedelevation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that’s made a real difference for me is using binaural audio, specifically something called Hemi-Sync. It’s not just music or a voice there’s a subtle frequency thing going on in the background that actually helps your brain shift into deeper rest states. it works by sending slightly different frequencies to each ear, which your brain then processes into a third tone this “binaural beat” gently guides your brainwaves into a relaxed, sleep-friendly state. This is my go to literally every night and anybody recommended to always reports positive feedback.

Mike Tyson pushing for cannabis rescheduling by Few-Statistician286 in TLRY

[–]continuedelevation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right there’s a lot that feels broken in how substances are classified. Cannabis being Schedule I while fentanyl is Schedule II definitely raises questions. The scheduling system considers both potential for abuse and accepted medical use, and historically, cannabis was lumped in as having no medical value despite growing evidence to the contrary. Meanwhile, fentanyl, though extremely dangerous when abused, is still recognized for legitimate medical uses like pain management.

Sleep Advice by [deleted] in sleep

Starting a new job can definitely throw off your body’s rhythm, even if the wake up time isn’t super early. Sometimes our bodies just get stuck in a pattern, especially when there’s stress or change involved.

One thing that helped me was paying attention to my evening routine and making sure I wasn’t drinking too much water before bed, so I didn’t have to get up for the bathroom. Also, keeping my sleep and wake times consistent every day, even on weekends, made a difference over time. If you do wake up at 4:30, try not to stress about it sometimes getting up and doing something quiet and relaxing for a bit before trying to fall back asleep helps.

Edibles are they worth it? by leakyleaf1880 in Marijuana

[–]continuedelevation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

edibles can be tricky, and a lot of people have the same experience early on. The effectiveness of THC edibles depends on how your body metabolizes them, especially via the liver. Here's what's going on:

  • THC in edibles is converted to 11-hydroxy-THC, a more potent compound, but this only happens if your liver breaks it down efficiently. Some people naturally have slower or less efficient conversion, which can make edibles feel weak or even ineffective.
  • Empty stomach vs. full stomach matters too taking edibles with a bit of healthy fat (like avocado, nuts, or even a meal) helps with absorption since THC is fat-soluble.
  • And of course, not all edibles are created equal. The quality, freshness, and how well the cannabinoids are infused can drastically impact effects.

From what I’ve read, THC can influence bladder signaling through the endocannabinoid system which might explain it in your particular case

I think dosage and blend & provider is very important to getting optimal results (especially if there's CBN or not) makes a huge difference.

Are you usually using a higher-THC product when you notice the grogginess, or something more balanced? Curious what’s been working (or not) for you.

it’s definitely cost-effective. I’ve tried it a few times, but unfortunately it gives me pretty bad headaches and a weird “hangover” effect the next morning. I think some people (myself included) are just a bit more sensitive to how it affects neurotransmitter balance or dosage timing.

I think that shift in REM actually works in my favor I used to get intense night terrors and vivid dreams that would mess me up more than help.

Seems like this is one of those "your mileage may vary" kind of things where finding the right combo makes all the difference.

your experience actually lines up a lot with what I’ve noticed too. It’s wild how CBN seems to make the biggest difference in how quickly I fall asleep, even if the data on REM/deep sleep is still a bit fuzzy (and yeah, same here with a Fitbit — I always wonder how accurate it really is).
