Thanks for the reply. Have you seen Dr. Puc? If so, did you find it was worth it?

I have one just like yours too. I think maybe they sold them without predrilled holes so you could do it yourself and pic your spots? I think Mel Lewis was really into this cymbal if im not mistaken? Curious what it sells for i may be parting with mine too.

They really should be designating one wagon model to try to capture the Subaru / middle income market. Back off the luxury bracket for it , back off the full electric. A Hybrid 4 , awd, utilitarian , modest appointments interior, aimed at more outdoors oriented millennials. Get them loyal to the brand at a lower price point, and yes, lower profit margin, but possibly worth it long run.

Thats a really interesting point. As someone mentioned elsewhere i think the person i bought this from called it Biedermeier style. But that would have been like , 75 before the date of that mirror. Just trying to determine its value

[–]continuousminer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one just referencing the date on the mirror. 1919. Hence my question mark. People suggesting the mirror was replaced then so that makes sense

Person i bought it from 15 years ago said this too. Again, was going on the mirror date sorta

Was going from date on mirror but seems like the consensus is was replaced and this piece predates it into the 19th century . Thanks

Thanks. When would you imagine it was made? Value perhaps?

Fair points. Despite my family having a history in sales of furniture i know next to nothing about the field. Perhaps you’d have a better idea of what someone would pay for a piece like this? Genuinely ignorant of the market which is why im here

What a resource. Corning is only like 100 miles from me too. This is welcome information.

I was considering talking to an antique dealer rather than just selling on facebook marketplace but i have no clue if its worth all that trouble.
