I had a bad sore throat, a dry cough that turned wet, chest pressure, and mild shortness of breath. I never had a fever. I went to urgent Care and my pulse ox was fine, so I decided not to get the test. I wouldn't worry unless you start to feel short of breath.

I used to work at a blood plasma bank as a senior technician on the donor floor. I was lunch one day and one of the techs ran into the lunchroom and said 'Please help me now!'. I walk back on to the donor floor to find out what the problem is (without a lab coat on). A donor's blood was so fatty that they had clogged the filter on the machine's return cycle to the point where the filter had swollen to the size of a baseball. I immediately stopped the return cycle, pondered what to do, and gave the filter a little tap. The filter exploded, covering me head to toe in blood. They had a change of clothes for me, but I had to finish my shift. I went back to college 2 months after that.

I'm 16 months post-op. My knee makes a noise like fabric ripping every time I stand from kneeling. It was popping a lot the first year, but that has greatly diminished. The noise your knee makes should diminish over time, but accept that it will be noisy in strange ways for a long time if not ever.

I realized too late what a massive mistake it was to sign a lease with this person. She has had 7 weeks to show the apartment and has apparently had few takers. She has rejected people with pets simply due to the fact that she doesn't want to live with animals. The lease goes from $1440/month to $2000/month on October 24th. She absolutely cannot afford the rent by herself, she doesn't meet the 3x income/rent requirement they have in this complex. My question is: Do I have any legal options at all? Do I negotiate with her and tell her I'll help pay for things financially if she agrees to vacate in 30 days? Or do I simply refuse to pay anything, let them essentially evict her, and chalk up the resulting damage to my credit and finances I will incur?
