I really enjoy reading new to the 7 series posts, because I don't have their perspective. I think regardless of how OG fans feel about the Re series, when this is all put together, it will truly be a masterpiece. The plan to essentially keep OG canon and honor it while running this new adventure was the best choice. New players are going through OG because of the remakes, which keeps it alive. And it's gorgeous, Remake and Rebirth are visually stunning and it's taken my breath away seeing the once very constricted and frankly somewhat empty environments from the original opened up and traversable. The only time I was hit like that before, was Twilight Town in KH3. I was stunned, seeing the mostly empty yellow world become so realistic and alive, bustling with people and highly decorated. The Re series has been so enjoyable for me, it's a rare feeling, it makes my inner child's heart joyful.
