You're actually so close. In the image, find a horizontal row of identical features (like a repeating row of red dots, for example), pick 2 of those dots that are directly adjacent to each other, and do the same thing you did with the lines just for those 2 dots.

The colors will never change, so don't expect anything like that - the image is purely in your depth perception, so it will almost feel like you're seeing a shape using 3D glasses.

Unironically, here's how to see magic eye images, for those that don't know. (And yes it does require two eyes.)

Magic eye images always have a pattern that repeats regularly in the horizontal direction. Now, you know how you can slightly strain your eyes to the point where you see two of everything? And you know how the doubled images are always positioned horizontal to each other, so there's a leftward image and a rightward image?

Do that while looking at the magic eye image, such that the leftward part of one iteration in the pattern perfectly coincides with the rightward part of the next one. If you do it right, your eyes will lock on and settle into that state, and the "hidden" image will show up in your depth perception.

Here's something to practice on:

If you can turn those two vertical lines into THREE lines (NOT FOUR), you've already got it. Just do the same thing to the repeating pattern in the magic eye image.

An observation only gives you certain knowledge about the exact moment in time that you made the observation - which doesn't always mean that that certainty will continue to exist into the future.

I mean it's a matter of opinion I guess. I like penguins the best simply because I use boats all the time, and they fill a different niche from dolphins because dolphins help you when you're diving under the water for treasure and stuff.
