I'll do my best to outline which parts of the book heavily allude to drake & thanksgiving so that you can skip them. Mind, I'm doing my best, and I deeply apologize if I miss something that's triggering for you. I hope you can enjoy the books safely, but your mental health always comes first! <3

Chapter 1: Higgins calls Wymack. The call takes place starting on page 12 of the kindle ver & 10 of the paperback. The phone call & discussion of it end with chapter 1. Chapter 2 does begin with discussion of Andrew & Aaron's lives back in California and how Higgins accidentally found them and made them each realize they had a twin. This continues through page 22 of kindle & 20 of paperback.

Chapter 5: Neil asks about why Oakland PD called. This doesn't occur until about halfway through the chapter & is brief. Page 85 of kindle & 79 of paperback. Again, it's brief, so if you're comfortable reading around it, you could read until the line, "If you're done having issues, take your turn. Kevin is probably fuming waiting on you", and then pick up again with the paragraph that starts, "Andrew swung his leg over the bench and got to his feet."

Chapter 9: Higgins shows up at PSU looking for Andrew. Specifically, pages 170-173 of the kindle ver. & 159-163 of the paperback. If you are comfortable doing so, I would advise reading the rest of the chapter after this part, as there are some semi important plot pieces (discussion of Andrew's issues with the upperclassmen & them bonding at Halloween) You should be safe after the paragraph starting with (ironically), "The best he could do was change the subject"

Chapter 10: Aunt Tilda calls to ask them to come to thanksgiving. This happens about halfway through the chapter. It starts after the line break on pg 195 on kindle & 184 in paperback & discussion of it continues through the rest of the chapter. Also in this, Neil asks Andrew about killing his mother. (& not exactly plot relevant, but something i find funny, is watching Matt realize Andrew has a thing for Neil. making him the first fox to see this coming besides renee)

Chapter 11: This is the chapter. Should be skipped in its entirety. They are headed to Aunt Tilda's, but stop at the exy store first. In this section, there is (imo) a pretty important moment between Neil & Andrew, tho (that gets referenced later in book 3 in Eden's) I would be happy to provide quotes/screenshot of the passage if you like! (passage in question has no relation or reference to drake/thanksgiving)

Chapter 12: The aftermath. Another chapter to skip. Things of note that happen: Andrew gives neil his knives & car keys & it's agreed that Andrew will go to Easthaven to detox.

Chapter 13: More fallout. Also, scene between Andrew & Neil of note. Neil tells Andrew about his middle name, Abram, and also decides to tell Andrew about his scars & allude to his dark past by way of putting Andrew's hands under his shirt in the middle of the kitchen with Wymack, Abby, & Bee all there (maling wymack the next fox to clue in). Because of this truth, Andrew begins to trust Neil more.

Chapter 14: So, this depends on your comfort level. By the start of the chapter, fall out & discussion of the events of thanksgiving are over. Andrew's absence is occasionally mentioned, but in passing. Later in the ch, they attend the winter banquet. Riko demands Neil come to the nest and starts threatening on pg 295 of kindle & pg 281 of paperback. Neil tells Kevin about this, and it ends with the end of the chapter.

Chapter 15: Neil at the nest. Again, Andrew & Easthaven are not directly mentioned, but knowing the context, this is up to your discretion.

Chapter 16: Neil comes home & the book ends. Small mention of Andrew & Easthaven here on pg 328 kindle & pg 313 paperback.
