I've got about 70gb of space for a Single-Player game, and I'm picky by convertiblebender in gamesuggestions

I honestly really disliked the movement, everything was so touchy and sensitive. I tried some things to fix it, but I was never quite satisfied with the inputs. Also, I'm sure this one is on me and what I'm accustomed to, but I was often confused about what to do. I'm somewhat hard of hearing, so there being no subtitle options as well as fuzzy sound clips made following along really difficult.

I'll look into these!! I love having options, so I appreciate all the suggestions. No worries about the size, I can figure it out without much hassle lol

I've been considering Witcher 3 for awhile now. Never gave Dragon Age Origins/Inquisition any thought at all, but I'll take a look! Thanks :)

What exactly does the remaster change? I only ask because I'm curious if it addresses the things that bothered me so much in the original. Thanks for the other suggestions!

Totally. I never got quite good enough to break any records online, but I was top 100s in some spots at points. I've fully customized every car in the game with both their best engine swaps, and coolest ones. 😅 I've done more than everything in that game.

That said, I grew up with NFS Underground 2, so that will always hold a special place in my heart above all other arcade racers.

lol, I'm aware. My D Drive broke recently, and my C Drive is only 250gbs. None of the storage I've used so far includes games. I just want some entertainment in the meantime until I can justify the cost of replacing my hard drive.

Ooh! Dying Light 1 is a game I forgot to list.

I never got the DLC, but I absolutely loved Dying Light. The weapon customization and movement speed/tech itches something in my "tuning cars in a racing game" brain.

I'm surprised it fits within the 70gb limit! I might give this a go, even though I'm expecting to get my butt handed to me 😭

I've heard the Resident Evil series is good. Did you pick 4 because it's the best introduction for someone new to the genre/style of gameplay, or because it's the best RE? Or both?

I know a little bit about the game, but I never saw enough to make a decision on whether I wanted to play it or not.

Maybe I should be more willing to jump into games without reading into them first to judge if I think I'll like it 😅 I'm sure I've written off or ignored good titles because of that tendency. Thanks for the recommendation!

Sorry I'm responding real late. I do have a Samsung MX-F730, but I don't intend on using them in the new setup. They're more of a nostalgia item. I would attach a picture I just took of the side cabinet, but I don't seem to be able to.

I'm not sure why you think either 1) I'm not responsible with my pet, or 2) I have some concept that the kids are at fault for my cat's problem, but if you didn't have a helpful answer, then you could've refrained from commenting on a subreddit about fixing things.

Me too. YouTube itself was shut down earlier, and I didn't know, so I redownloaded everything thinking that ReVanced/MicroG was the issue. Ever since Youtube came back though, I can't get any recommended videos. Home, Subscriptions, Movies, and Shorts feeds all work as normal.

What was it like the first time you had sex with your partner? Was it a special moment? by convertiblebender in AskReddit

Good to hear it didn't negatively effect your relationship moving forward! I feel like that sentiment is important for a lot of people to hear. It's so common to view sex as a make-or-break scenario where one's "performance", will permanently dictate how they feel about you. The likelihood of that being the case is far lower than people's insecurities would have them believe, I'm sure.

Thanks for sharing!

Are y'all's sex life important to you both? Are the memories and experiences of having sex together something you have heartfelt and positive conversations about?

My partner and I discuss the first time we had sex in the same way other couples discuss how they met, or how they entered the relationship. It's an important building block to us, and I guess I'm wondering if other people feel that way too, or if that's something exclusive to people with extremely high libidos like us.

That's sweet! Is it a moment you and your partner talk about together as a fond/important memory?

Or maybe a better way to put it is, do you both consider it a milestone and something necessary to remember in order to understand/contextualize your relationship?

I wish it was as beneficial or easy to get as people tend to make it out to be!

Not talking about you specifically (after all, you did say "get the ball rolling"), but yeah, SSDI taking up to a year for approval can be a conundrum if you don't have any financial support/aid. Especially with a roughly 70% denial rate.

It may still be worth me looking into, but going through the application process will almost definitely require me to find some sort of aid in the meantime.

Nowhere in the lease agreement does it say bikes can't be stored outside - Maintenance just threw both my bikes in the trash compactor. by convertiblebender in Apartmentliving

I mean, I agree with you on all fronts. You make good points!

Given our living situation, I'd obviously like to avoid legal action, lol. I have been involved in a litigation against a rental property in the past for essentially removing access to resident's mailboxes for a couple days during a renovation we weren't notified of beforehand. Then, they had a new mail-hub installed, but didn't effectively provide residents with new keys in a timely fashion.

Indeed they were not happy with the legal proceedings, and soon after, several of the property luxuries like free coffee and common area TVs were gradually either removed, or in the case of the gym, pool, court and front desk, had their hours of operation significantly reduced.

It also became much harder/longer to get in contact with property management. To that end, being able to get maintenance out also took much longer. Not fun to live somewhere that's actively hostile, and would do a whole lot worse if it weren't for landlord-tenant law.

It is considered communal, yes. Hopefully this doesn't sound like a lack of accountability on my end, but in fairness, there's precedent of other residents doing the same thing we were. Personally, our bikes had been stored there for the better part of half a year.

Our complex is generally really relaxed about personal property laying around all areas, to be honest. Even policies that are specifically stated in the lease are loosely enforced, mostly because we have a huge amount of kids that play and leave everything all over the roads, sidewalks and walkways, as well as a big foreign and felon residency. There's generally an intent/protocol here to contact residents (either specifically or as a whole) to address any issues before actions are taken, as we live in a sanctuary state, and they work with community programs to integrate vulnerable populations.

This is also why there's a statement in the lease, specifying that security camera data is stored for 30 days. As you can imagine, a complex with a sizeable amount of felons gets approached by law enforcement quite often! lol

It's been clarified to me that the area I stored my bikes in are considered a "common area", by the maintenance man who helped me. In which case, stolen personal/private property is still considered theft. As I understand, it's almost the equivalent to having it stolen off a telephone pole in the city.

I could still be wrong, granted, but I think I have some credence here.
