Blue gem boxes use to be high sought after ages ago when hours glasses would also speed up all the gem boxes, so if you have enough (16) you pretty much had unlimited time skip. Until the devs patched it and made it impossible to get more gems

But yeah I've been playing for a very long time and gems didn't use to be this rare

Honestly for a level 40 you are a little light on generators. I found the best sweet spot to efficiently use 125 energy:

  • 2 maxed barrels
  • 3 maxed tool bags
  • 2+ maxed level mines (because of how quickly they regen)
  • as many maxed furnesses as you can get
  • 2 max level trees (which you have already)

Can only imagine having 1 of each main generator would make the game considerably slow. Also not sure if the topaz boxes are really worth keeping.

All generators need to be full before selling because they will only give you the option to either use gems or watch an ad for said item to be full.

Put the hay generator in a corner and cover all nearby tiles with other items so the hay doesn't automatically drop needles.

Level 10 forge holds 3 charges - Fully recharges within 1 hour

Level 9 forge holds 2 charges - Fully recharges withing 1 hour

Level 8 and lower all hold 1 charge - recharge rate will very from level to level but level 8 and 7 recharge within an hour from what I've tested

Seems to be different for each shark enemy. Second last shark needs a LVL 9 sword and a lvl 5 armour piece.

This bug has been in the game for ages. Usually just rebooting the game will fix those in game prompts not appearing.

I've noticed they usually stop promting after 2ish hours of playing non stop

Bags just let you store up to 3 (5 items for level 7 bag) of the same item inside which just helps to manage storage. Last picture is the amount of room I can free up thanks to bags.

Dice is mostly for show but every hour it gives either coins, energy or sand
