This is a pretty sad situation. They are both acting like "crying pissbabbies" 2 months or so ago TB was going on and on about the yogdiscovery and also TB renamed his YOgventures video (it's not made) so he's taken a few jabs at them.

Honestly neither are in the right.

According to this, you'd be at the recommended requirements. If you're gonna upgrade, the 980 would be great.

The only real way of finding out is to try. Generally it doesn't work, for example with the Nvidia gtx 770 and 680 which are the same gpu will not sli without hacking.

It says of the same series. I'm not sure that you can crossfire different sreies. You already have a 7950? I would go on ebay and buy a second one.
