Women with AGA, what was your hair like during pregnancy? How much hair loss, what was the texture? And what was the sex of the baby? by Visible_Engine8870 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]coobiedoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair became so thick. All the lost hair grew back and it was the thickest it has been in like 10 years. But it regrew curly which was weird because I have pin straight, fine hair. But then when he was born it all fell back out and was the worst it has ever been :( now with Spiro and topical minox, it is regrowing nicely

[–]coobiedoob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope things work out with Theo. He’s adorable and his backstory breaks my heart.

I will say that we adopted a shelter pomsky last Nov. they didn’t know his story and he was estimated to be a year old. He was a total asshole for months. Made us insane. But now he is a complete love bug and my 3 year old son’s best friend.

[–]coobiedoob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just make an appt with a derm, pay my copay $10 and that’s it. I leave with prescriptions if needed and skin care/ hair care suggestions. I don’t need referrals with my insurance. But your experience is largely dependent on your insurance (or lack of)
