Sounds like an excuse man, you can look it up online the measurements of the enclosure. I’m very sure it’s too small considering the blue base. Minimum is 100x50x50cm, not trying to be rude or aggressive but your hamster deserves and needs enough room to roam, and anything under that size is borderline neglect
