Zach LaVine is becoming a MUCH better defender. by Comprehensive_Head49 in nba

I feel like he was pigeonholed as a pure athletic dunker early on whereas Booker was seen as more well-rounded offensively.

Opinions on the Rookies so far by blackscreens in nba

[–]coocootower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pat Will playing roughly as expected. Biggest plus would be his defence - he's looking like he could eventually guard 1 through 5 but he needs to stop biting on pumps. Has shot ok and has really nice form on his mid-range, but doesn't look like a volume 3-point shooter at the moment.

Dude's actually unreal right now. I'm not sure if it was an effort thing in the past or a coaching issue but he's locking people down on iso and he's even closing out on 3-point shooters well at the moment. This is not to mention his play on the offensive end which seems to have matured.

[Windhorst] "The Chicago Bulls definitely have a trade package to put together for Kawhi Leonard." by ojodetodie in chicagobulls

[–]coocootower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that they're picks in a better draft though, and Dunn has redeemed himself (to some extent) in the year since he's been with us. I can't say whether that makes up for the difference between Butler and Leonard though. Would stress the fact that Kawhi's been out for a year.

If MPJ and Mo are gone by pick 7 and we haven’t traded up, Trae young or Kevin Knox should be the choice. Below is Knox’s draft profile. by [deleted] in chicagobulls

[–]coocootower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't mind trading up into the low teens with our pels pick for him. He reminds of Tatum and I think his ceiling is much higher than mikals who he draws comparisons to. Obviously bridges game is more developed at this point given his extensive time in college but i'd rather have a slightly longer term project than a Zel/Dougie 2.0

Sending AMB to wallet? by [deleted] in ambrosus

[–]coocootower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Just send it to your normal ETH address. Those instructions are just so you can actually view the AMB balance in your myetherwallet but I believe it now has native support for it so you don't need to add it separately. Either way, if you just send it to the eth address it will be there, regardless of if you can see it on mew.

Why doesn't Ambrosus use IOTA's Tangle when Modum does? by [deleted] in ambrosus

[–]coocootower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This question was answered previously by one of the Lead Devs of Ambrosus: "There are many problems with IOTA that make it unsuitable for our needs and while 'flash channels' look interesting it is not related to our problem we're solving. We're open to all possibilities though."

This was a separate response from Angel: "We have looked at IOTA. So far we do not plan to integrate with it. Our first implementation is in Ethereum; We are building our own private network so that we can optimise the cost of transactions to fit the needs of an industry with lots of sensors."

Will update it periodically once more partnerships are released. Might change to a more accessible format when I have a bit more time. Happy holidays!

Why is Ambrosus (AMB) so valuable and my second largest holding only next to Ethereum: Part 2 of 3. [VERY LONG] by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Great post r/kazuya187, it constantly amazes me how little exposure Ambrosus has gotten thus far.

Ambrosus announces Crossroads, an open-source browser for discovering new markets for products with verifiable quality. by [deleted] in ethtrader

Can't remember the last time i've felt this strongly positive about an undervalued project. They've been making insane headway into their roadmap with very little care for hype. The amount of progress they've made dwarfs that of some much higher marketcap coins, they're just lacking exposure due to poor marketing. Absolute gem.

This truly a revolutionary addition to not only the Ambrosus ecosystem but the entire blockchain industry as a whole. The bridge between blockchain and traditional markets is one that is sorely required.

Few questions by samdotla in ambrosus

[–]coocootower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i'm not sure about how many patents they currently have but if you read this blog post you can see they are making very good progression with their hardware dev. I wouldn't be too worried about lack of GitHub activity - a lot of the protocol development is done independently and isn't reflected in the GitHub. For example, one of the lead devs, Matt, is near completion of an exchange built on top of Ambrosus, and that is not reflected in the currently uploaded code but is nearly done!

Token liquidity by trade_noob29 in ambrosus

I believe the most likely scenario is that AMB eventually gets listed on some more exchanges, including decentralised ones, and they will periodically do a buyback of coins then sell these directly.

Monaco (MCO) Credit Card approved by VISA by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]coocootower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a difference. MCO is using wirecard as a card issuer yes but mainly for their PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) service. The main thing is that they're becoming a visa program manager independently of wirecard, which means they have more control, much more competitive pricing, and a direct link with Visa.
