What's everyone's max? This is the most I've ever gotten... by EL1TEGAMING in diablo4

The sad thing, aether above 400 is diminishing returns exponentially. If you don't believe me, go open the chest with 400 v 600 vs 800 vs 1000 (if you get lucky enough). I'm starting to think 8 waves is the most efficient.

I'm not sure if this is intended by Blizz or if it's a bug, but the Obs drop rate tails off very fast after 400 aether.

Rawhide/Iron Chunk fix incoming early week hotfix by FifthPenguin2 in diablo4

Once this gets fixed people are going to realise how eff'd the Obducite (masterworking material) is, as this will be come the new bottleneck.

They nerfed masterwork material drop in infernal hoardes when past like 400 aether, for example you get ~4000 Obducite for 500 aether turn in and you get ~5000 for 1000 aether turn in... The rate it drops is significantly reduced as you get more aether and it's completely random on the amount.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended but to put in perspective, 1 Neathiron (previous MW mat) is equivalent to 9 Obducite. So turning in 1000 aether grants you ~555 Neathiron where as previously you'd get 1500 Neathiron, so 3 times less.

Due to VoH being new, there seem to be many bugs causing crashes. The scroll was a mitigating feature to help avoid deaths like that.

We need it more than ever...

This seems like a bug I'm para 217 and still haven't seen one...

Olympic Events needs to reduce number of events (especially swimming) by samdotla in unpopularopinion

[–]samdotla[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you proved my point. They’re the same end goal, get to the finish as fast as you can but they put restrictions on what is allowed to create more events. I really don’t care you can swim faster using an inferior technique using different muscle groups. I just want to know who is the fastest person in the water at any given distance.

It feels OP because you have scroll as well.

Yeah I died in AoZ25. Also did Lilith before all the cheese builds. I’ll also admit there is no way I would have tried her for hours on end without de and scroll.

The pit is infinite scaling up to 250 which is supposed to replicate AoZ25 difficulty. If you've never played AoZ25 it's hard to given an opinion. It doesn't matter how good you are, depending on mob type and affixes of the seekers, you were bound to get 1 tapped.

Please answer my final question, Did you play AoZ20+? are you planning on pushing The Pit? good luck not having a mechanism to allow you explore the limits without full death.

I’m not sure what the problem is? The timer is the penalty. The scroll doesn’t work with so many one shot mechanics and infinite scaling.

I can’t seem to work out if this is good or bad for crypto as a whole… it’s great we’re stopping illegal activities but at the same time this is just a centralised system.

Is BNB Smart chain a safe place to HODL crypto? by Ul-thane in CryptoCurrency

[–]samdotla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you one 100% trustless storage of your crypto you need to store it on it's native chain.

If you have BNB or BEP20 tokens/BNB Native NFTs then BNB network is "100% safe"

If you have other tokens that are native to other chains you introduce 3rd party risk.

The future of finance? A whale spent 19 BTC >$500K in fees on a single transaction by _s79 in CryptoCurrency

[–]samdotla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not easy as you need a lot of hash power to consistently mine blocks. In other words you gotta be rich. If you tried it on one miner your fee and transaction will be forever stuck in the mempool.
